🧵 What happens before the embroidery even starts?
When you commission an embroidered photo, the stitching is actually the easy part.
Before a single thread is sewn, we spend hours converting photos into embroidery files, matching thread colours, calculating stitch paths, and working out multi-hooping layouts so every section lines up perfectly.
The piece we're currently working on will need 90 hoopings.
That's 90 times we'll have to reposition the frame between sewing sections once the embroidery begins.
Ninety.
Every single hooping is done with care, attention, love... and occasionally a few muttered curse words. 😅
What you see as a finished piece is actually the result of hours of planning, problem-solving and preparation long before the machine starts stitching.
And honestly? We love every minute of it. 💛 Well. Mostly. 🪡
