⭐️ Why read? ⭐️

Reading helps children see situations from other perspectives, from different points of view, helping them to understand the world around them. It helps them learn about emotions and shows different situations and reactions to them, giving them a better understanding of the world.

Children can explore their own worlds through the eyes of the characters in books and relate to different situations.

Books are certainly wonderful things. 🤩

⭐️Why read?⭐️

Stories are great for teaching children about problems and how to deal with them, exploring different scenarios and different cause and effect outcomes. You go on journeys with characters, seeing the world through their eyes, solving problems along the way. 😊

Reading itself is also essentially a problem-solving task. Comprehending what is read, like problem solving, requires effort, planning, self-monitoring, strategy selection, and reflection. This all helps develop our cognition and understanding of the world. 🥰
