This is where you can find my almost every Sunday as I sell records via my WhatsApp group, the Sunday Service. Ive been doing this for almost five years now through my (record shop with a difference), Brighter Day Record Shop.

It makes me very happy. Sending records off around the world to be played and loved.

Went out and picked up a very nice collection, which included some lovely Beatles and related records. Including an original Let It Be Box and a XEX606-1 Revolver. Or for those who have a life, the Revolver that was withdrawn from releases as it had the wrong mix of Tomorrow Never Knows on.

A NEW OWNER HAS BEEN FOUND!

THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO TOOK PART!

Gotta share the Dolly love...

I'm putting this perfectly fine Dolly hits LP up for adoption. To give it a new home, comment...

Jolene
..a random wheel thingy will find it a home tomorrow.

This actually has some hits on, including the aforementioned Jolene, I Will Always Love You and her greatest track (in my opinion), Coat of Many Colours. Makes me blub every time.

I'll be doing this adoption over a few platforms, ill make sure everyone is included. Please don't enter on multiple platforms. Im sure Dolly would disapprove.

Good luck 🌞

Finally I'm sitting down to grade and price up some of the records purchased in Japan. The vast majority are working their way across land and sea, but here are some crackers!

These will begin to appear in the Sunday Service from next week (this week is a 5/4/3/2/1 Sale), and i can't wait to share the spoils!

A reminder i don't sell records via social media, but through the aforementioned WhatsApp group the Sunday Service, whcih you're very welcome to join. Drop me a DM.

We've been back from our trip for just over a week and it's been non stop since. I really REALLY miss it. But making plans for my return visit already.

Back on the road today where i saw and picked up two collections.

The first was in a sorry state, but they allowed me to cherry pick a few which I could scrub up. The second had some 80s and 90s classics in much nicer condition. Jolly good.

I was close to Fatmod Records, so scooted in to see Rob Reilly and have a gander around his (new) shop. And very nice it was too.

Now back at Brighter Day HQ to price up records! 🌞

Deep appreciation for these Japanese singles. I adore the photos they use. More often than not they're photos I'm not so familiar with.

I've more working their way across Asian in a couple of boxes. But in the meantime I'm enjoying putting a price on these ready for future Sunday Services.
