The Redditch vintage tackle fair, Sunday 10th may

Tomorrow we make the long biannual journey west to Redditch for the vintage tackle fair, this time packed with bargain rods and reels all at clearance prices!
We have a large stack of rods including greenheart, cane, fibreglass and early carbon from various makers including hardy, milwards, Dawson's, daiwa, allcocks and more...ALL PRICED AT ONLY £10 EACH.

We have also got a large selection of reels, all priced at £5 each!

It’s nearly that time again for the Reddich vintage tackle fair, Sunday 17th November at the abbey stadium, Redditch!

We have been busy behind the scenes collecting and sorting fresh stock to bring along, including some delicious cane and glass rods including Allcocks lucky strike restored by Paul cook, hardy Roach, sealey floatcaster deluxe, hardy matchmakers as well as an array of reels including Allcocks centrepins, ambidex, closed face reels, etc with prices from £5-300+

We will also be there with our extensive collection of rod building items, rod rings, reel bands, butt caps, thread, all priced at only £1 each!

Pop along and say hello, doors open at 9am.

It’s nearly that time of year again for the bi-annual Redditch vintage tackle fair, held at the abbey stadium, Redditch on the 12th May.

We have been busy gathering more high quality, fresh to market vintage tackle including loads of rods from makers such as chapmans, hardy, Bruce and Walker, davenport and Fordham, Abu, Daiwa, rodrill and many more all offered at very reasonable prices with rods starting from £20!

We will also have our usual selection of vintage rod building items as well as various reels, catalogues, man cave items, swing and quiver tips and much more!

After a long 4 hour drive west we are here and all set up ready for tomorrow's vintage tackle fair at Redditch.
Loads of goodies on sale including cane, glass and retro carbon rods, lots of reels, advertising and rod building accessories. Hope to see you all there in the morning!

National vintage tackle fair in redditch, Sunday 19th November 2023

The last tackle fair of the year is fast approaching and we will be making the long journey west from sunny Suffolk to stall out at the fair on Sunday 19th November. We will have our usual stock of rod rings and accessories, many at only £1 each as well as a tasty array of rods and reels including makers such as hardy, Allcocks, Abu, Shakespeare, constable and many more!
We will also have a gorgeous Andrew Davis lightweight wizard rod as well as a Paul cook restored Southwell built Ogden smiths Arun for sale as well as sublime reels from Garry mills and Allcocks.

Hope to see as many of you there as possible!

Romsey tackle fair Sunday 1st October 2023

With less than two weeks until the Romsey vintage tackle fair we have been working hard behind the scenes to sort out items. Many of the items we squirrel away during the year ready for the vintage fairs so are fresh to the market with items for all budgets. We have a range of reels including centrepins, fly reels and fixed spools as well as a range of retro and vintage rods including makers such as hardy, Bruce and Walker, drennan, Bernard sealey, normark Daiwa and more!
We will also be bringing a large range of new old stock vintage rod building accessories with most items only £1 each! Hope to see you there!

It's just under a week until we will once again be stalling out at the Redditch vintage tackle fair at the Abbey stadium this Sunday, 14th May.

Not long to go until the next vintage tackle fair, held at the Abbey stadium, Redditch, this coming Sunday 14th May.
The retro tackle team will once again be stalling out, bringing loads of fresh to the market items including cane, glass and carbon rods from makers such as Oliver’s, Dawson’s, conoflex, northwestern, Daiwa, etc as well as a selection of reels to suit all budgets, a vast amount of vintage and retro rod rings, all £1 each to clear and a selection of advertising items.

used East point laundry to wash some of our fishing towels. The ladies were helpful, we arranged a drop off and collection with ease. Our dirty towels came back fresh, clean and folded. We will be back with more. 5 stars for sure!
