The West End is coming to Lowestoft for ONE DAY ONLY

Sunday 20th September, 2:30pm & 7:30pm at the Marina Theatre - Lowestoft

Following their run of sold out West End concerts, Chorus Productions bring West End Does: Lowestoft to town. Professional West End performers, a live band, and your favourite songs from Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera, Hamilton, Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman and more.

Starring Katie Tonkinson, Rob Houchen, Nic Myers and Ian McIntosh. Hosted by Joe Tracini, featuring the voice of Matt Lucas and backed by an incredible local choir from D16 and students from Venue Dance Academy.

Every year for 10 days in September it brings people together to celebrate their heritage, community and history. Stories are told, traditions explored, and histories brought to life. It’s offers the public a chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.

Step Back in Time at the Heritage Skills Market!

Lowestoft Town Council invites you to a fun and festive day celebrating the heritage of ordinary working people's lives, with interactive demonstrations from local traders.

The spotlight will be on traditional heritage skills, all set against a backdrop of colour and music for a real festival atmosphere.

Meet the crafters, watch them at work and browse beautiful handmade heritage crafts available to buy.

Food and drink stalls will also be on hand, so you can relax, browse and enjoy the ambience for longer.

Free activities for children will run throughout the day, making it a day the whole family can enjoy.

Across the day you'll be able to see skilled makers including a Blacksmith, Pargetter, Netmaker, Ceramic artist, Stained Glass artist, Tilemaker and Textile artist, among many more.

Expect live bands, dance and costumes to bring it all to life, as you learn about and celebrate the skills of the ordinary people who came before us.

Looking for something active to get involved with this Sunday 30th August? There are two great events taking place across Lowestoft!

🏃 The 27th Scores Race
Organised by Waveney Valley AC, the event takes runners through the historic scores of Lowestoft.
The senior race is now sold out, but there are still a few places available for juniors. Whether you're taking part or cheering from the sidelines, head to the Upper High Street to soak up the fantastic atmosphere and support the runners!

🌳 Sports & Wellness Festival
