Entering the weeklong countdown to our exhibition of vintage letterpress auction posters and other paper ephemera which all dates to the 19th century.

An insight into what was considered valuable at the time (feather mattresses, cucumber frames, hearth rugs, hay ricks) and also the vacating of local properties owing to either emigration or death.

The exhibition opens on Thursday, August 27th at 10 am with drinks that evening from 5. It then continues on Friday and Saturday (August 28th & 29th) from 10-5.

We are holding the exhibition to coincide with the inaugural Ludlow History Festival.

Lots of lovely merch including 1 pint mugs (verified by the weights and measures dept at Tinsmiths!), tea towels, catalogue and smaller mugs. Also collages and two really lovely fabric designs that Marion has designed for Phoebe at Tinsmiths: both informed by 18th C mochaware.
