8 squares finished, 4 remaining… and my crochet brain said, “Let’s start something else!” 🤷🏾‍♀️🤣

Honestly, I’m like a magpie with sparkly objects when a new pattern catches my eye.

The retro daisy squares are coming along beautifully, and I’ve now made every possible colour combination with the three yarn colours I have.

Could I have finished the Clastop instead? Probably. Will I keep making daisy squares? Also probably. 😆

Trying to use up some yarn and finally gave the Retro Daisy Square a try — I’m loving how it’s turning out! 🌼✨

I’m planning to make every possible colour combination with these three shades and then join them all together with black yarn for a bold finish. Not quite sure what the final project will be yet — I’ll see how many squares I end up making before deciding! 😊

I also dusted off my yarn winder, which is making the whole process so much easier and keeping everything nice and tidy. 🧶💛

Yay! It’s complete. Even steam blocked it too. Proud of myself I completed something in less than a month. 🎉

Baby blanket now complete. Ready to gift! Didn’t take long to make, would have been quicker if I just stuck to one project 🤣

The granny squares were made with the leftover yarn from the festival blanket. Then used a different pink acrylic yarn to join them together. Then used shell stitch for the edging. The pink helped to calm the brighter colours down a little.

Progress! 1 square complete as before. 11 centers, of 5 rounds, done so far. Mostly with ends woven in. Interesting to see how this pattern is coming together.

One full square complete. Making a start on the others before I get to the difficult rounds! It’s a difficult pattern to do but now I’ve done one the rest should be easier! There will be 12 in total!

I’ve finally completed this jumper!!?!?!!! I thought I had started it in August 2025…. I actually started in October 2024! Wow!!! Many other projects got in the way. I was aiming to have it finished by December 2025. Missed that 🤣

The last bit was to finish the arm, the cuff and the bottom part. And with a little steam blocking I was able to wear it tonight and show it off at Crochet Club!

The 2 huge granny squares were actually made up very quickly. It’s the colour changes on the arms that took the longest, and put me off getting back to this . And all the ends I had to weave in (or knot). 🤯

I’m happy with the results though ☺️

Finally finished the from and ! 🥰

I went with the white and black border in the end. It looks and feels fab! Love it! 💜🩷

The end is in sight! Now on round 7 of the border. I’m in two minds whether to make the final round in white or black?!?? I’m leaning on Black!
