Skegness Carnival Christmas Market
Sat 25 & Sun 26th November 2023

The Christmas market is historically one of the ways we raise funds to support the Summer Parade and ongoing Carnival expenditure. Over the years the cost of running the market has rocketed to the point we are barely breaking even which defeats the point.

This year is going to be a more compact market situated in the parking bays on Lumley Avenue. With no road closures to pay for and much less red tape, we hope more of the stall fees will go directly back into supporting the Parade and events planned for next summer.

There will be approximately 28 stalls, attached together in 2 rows facing inwards with a clear center area. Vehicles will be able to drop off their goods at the stall and then move to side streets or local car parks and return on foot to set up. Each trader can book 1 stall (4’x8’) at £40 a day and will be put on a waiting list for any not taken by the deadline for payment. (Friday 10th November). Priority will be given to people selling Christmas-related products and gift items. www.skegnesscarnival.com

Space will be provided for local choirs/ schools/ buskers to entertain the visitors to the market. Please email us if you would like a time slot.

We know this may be disappointing to many people used to the space they are afforded down Lumley Road but times change and we need to move forward and make this Christmas Market profitable.
