The role

The purpose of the role is to work with the Project Managers and Technicians to install TV & AV product to retail display in line with project principles.

This role will suit
AV Engineers
Installation Engineers
Audio Visual Engineers
A.V Technicians

Duties and Responsibilities
• Installing TV/AV equipment across the UK (Some European work may be required)
• Driving vans to deliver AV equipment and accessories across the UK
• Install and configure LED walls
• Hang TV Screens/Touch screens and media players on walls
• Troubleshooting issues while on site
• Working closely with the Project Manager (PM) and wider integration team, to ensure that installations are carried out within the specified time-frame.
• Ability to work upon instruction from PM and independently.
• Responsible for ensuring quality of installations, cable management, equipment mounting and labelling.
• Creative problem solving on projects in conjunction with the PM.
• Escalating issues from site through the appropriate channels.
• Maintenance of Install equipment and spares at base.
• Appropriate preparation of installation equipment prior to an installation project.
• Mentorship of Junior Team Members and reinforcement of Safe and Good Practice.
• Any other duties as required as an Audio Visual Installation Engineer

The Person
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge and/or an interest in Audio Visual equipment useful & aptitude for acquiring skills to use new AV technology.
• Able to work well under pressure
• Computer literate
• Ability to travel
• UK driving licence
• Experience in AV installations preferred but not essential

Relocating and refreshing the brand wasn't the only thing on our agenda this year. With our ongoing focus on ensuring the health and safety of all of our staff upon return to the office, we committed wholesale to bringing training to the eager (whether in office or out across the country!). We want to say a big congratulations and thank you to our fire marshals, who undertook Browns' Health & Safety course in order to acquire the skills and confidence to carry out safety and emergency procedures in the event of a fire, potentially saving lives.
