It’s been a really lovely week so far, welcoming visitors to my studio on the farOpen Art Trail. Thank you to everyone who’s stopped by and for the wonderful conversations about dried flowers, gardening and cats!

One of the floral decorations I really wanted to have on display were small flower clouds. I managed to find time to make five which are now floating above and twisting gently in the breeze of the fan. My favourite ingredient in these? Big, airy white Ammi heads 🤍

You can visit me at studio 21 on the trail 10am-4pm each day through 12 July. Follow the link below for the online brochure which has all the details you need to plan your journey along the 2026 art trail. Hope to see you!

We’re all set up here at Studio 21 in Lydney and ready to welcome visitors during the faropen.artists Art Trail! All the dried flower creations I’ve been making over the past few months are finally on display together in one place. I hope you can come along and see some of the things I love to make and maybe have a little chat about flowers 🌸 Or stay a bit longer and enjoy tea and a biscuit 😊

We’re open 10-4 each day of the trail from 4-12 July. Link to the digital brochure here:

Meadow boxes weren’t on my original list of things to make for the farOpen Art Trail & Artists Art Trail but I love making them so much there are now three 🩷

The Open Studios art trail begins this Saturday which is only a couple of days away. Everything is starting to come together here at Studio 21 where I’m temporarily moving my dried flower workspace into our conservatory. It will be filled with the flowers I grow and dry plus lots of my dried flower creations. You’ll also be able to see me at work on a pressed/dried floral commission during the week 🌸

There’s a link below to the farOpen digital brochure with all the details you need for planning your studio visits. I’ll be open 10-4 from July 4-12. Hope to see you then!

This Saturday is the start of the farOpen open studios art trail! I hope you can come visit me at Studio 21 in Lydney. I’ve been busy making these little dried flower fairies that will be flitting around my workspace alongside lots of other dried flower creations ✨

The Art Trail runs 4-12 July and I’ll be open 10-4 each day. Enjoy a tea or coffee while you sit under the grapevine just outside my conservatory. There’s a link below where you can find the digital brochure for the trail and plan your visit to all the local studios including mine ☺️

Hope to see you there 🌸

This jam jar is a fairly accurate representation of my ornamental flower beds at the moment. I’ve not had time to w**d so wild grasses are growing everywhere, towering over the intentionally planted perennials. But they look pretty and I’m probably the only regular visitor who knows they’re not meant to be there so for now I’m not stressing about it.

Anyway, these flowers were a gift for someone whose heart lies in the countryside and I hope I was able to give them a bit of wildness with grasses amongst the garden flowers 💜

Wishing you a happy Friday xx

I hope you’re staying cool wherever you are 🌞 During this hot week I’m trying to get my garden work finished in the morning and then spend the rest of the day inside making jam jars and flower fairies. I’m also really hoping this heat will help my late plantings take off and catch up to where they normally are by late June!

I’ll have more dried flower jam jars like this one during the farOpen Art Trail (4-12 July) but you can also now order them in bespoke colours straight from my website - link below

Yesterday was spent making mini flower hoops for the farOpen Art Trail & Artists art trail which is happening in just two weeks!

I used lots of this season’s alchemilla plus bluebells, buttercups and cornflowers. Next on the list is the flower fairies 🧚

This is the main wreath I made for Sufi using her gorgeous dried wedding flowers. She dried them all herself - didn’t she do a wonderful job? Thank you so much for this commission Sufi - I absolutely loved making these wreaths! What a beautiful way to remember a special day ✨

July 4 is the start of the 2026 farOpen Art Trail ✨ I’ve been busy making lots of dried flower creations to decorate our conservatory where I’ll be welcoming visitors this year. It’s not where I usually work but I’ll be transforming it into a space that resembles my studio with beautiful flowers hanging from above, and I’ll be working on a commission during the open week. I’ll have the hoops pictured above, flower strings and garlands, mobiles, jam jars and flower fairies. Maybe even some mini flower clouds if I have time 🌸

The art trail runs 4-12 July with most studios being open 10am-4pm, including me. Find me at studio 21 in Lydney. There’s a link below to the digital brochure where you can find all the details. It would be lovely to see you ☺️
