Last night, we had the honour of supporting the fabulous Helen McGinn and The Montagu Arms Hotel with their wine tasting event by selling Helen’s books.

Daniel went along with our pop-up shop and had a great time meeting all you soon to be wine experts.

Helen’s newest book, The Supermarket Wine Guide is there to help you navigate the wine aisle with confidence and without breaking the bank. If you missed the event, but still want a signed copy, we have a few left over in the shop - so be quick!

Working with Helen is always a pure delight, because she’s so totally fabulous. ❤️

Thank you so much to The Montagu Arms Hotel for inviting us to come along. It was the perfect setting with delicious wines and delicious food. And Daniel said you serve the BEST coffee he’s had in years ☕️

Is this the biggest haul anyone has bought at once? Most likely!

Everyone, meet Sam! Sam is a regular customer who moved up north earlier this year. Her wonderful husband bought her a voucher for the Imaginarium for her birthday and so she came in to stock up! Here she is with her haul, we just had to take a picture.

One thing is for certain, Sam is in for a GREAT time with all these books.

Yesterday we had the pleasure of being based at Hockeys Farm Shop and Farmyard Cafe to sell books for the incredible

James’ new book A Wagon in the Woods is a memoir filled with restoration and rediscovery of our very own ancient New Forest. After tracking down an old wagon he once played in as a child, James set to restoring it, and along the way he’s accompanied by the natural history and storied past of the New Forest.

It was so lovely to meet not only the customers of Hockeys, but also the staff, who were all absolutely delightful and welcoming.

We have signed copy of A Wagon in the Woods in stock!
