How to support a small business on social media, it costs absolutely nothing, yet can make a surprisingly big difference… 👍🏻❤️
While you’re scrolling, if you see a post from a small business, please consider giving it a quick like before you scroll on by.
You don’t need to buy anything.
You don’t need to spend any money.
You don’t even need to think of something to say!
That tiny tap helps the Facebook and Instagram algorithms understand that people are interested in what we’re sharing. This can help our posts reach more of the lovely people who already follow us & perhaps even introduce our little business to somebody new who might genuinely love what we make too.
Times are incredibly tough for small artisan businesses, not to mention the ever-changing social media algorithms 🤦🏻♀️, so every like, comment, save & share really does mean more than you might realise.
Each one tells us, “Hey, I’ve seen you. I’m still here, supporting you from the wings.” And yes, it may cause a little happy dance behind the scenes, knowing that we aren’t just talking to ourselves, but then, I’m known to do that anyway! 🤪
