Congratulations Royal Burgh of Annan 🎉

The Royal Burgh of Annan Pipe Band are excited to announce that the RSPBA have promoted the band to Grade 1 for the 2027 season - a massive achievement and honour for everyone involved in the band.

This follows a hugely successful 2026 season for the band, during which 3 major championship titles were won in a row:

- Grade 2 Scottish Champions
- Grade 2 European Champions
- Grade 2 UK Champions

The band went on to win 2nd at the Worlds, securing Champion of Champions and the Drumming Champion of Champions titles.

After many years of hard work and determination this is a welcome challenge for all those involved with the band.

The band would like to thank our sponsor Cochran, as well as McCallum Bagpipes Ltd for their continued support of the band season after season. Thanks also go to our Pipe Major, Leading Drummer, committee, families, and every single person who has cheered us on at a contest field.

Our preparations for the challenges ahead are already well underway, we hope to see all of our supporters as we take to the Grade 1 arena next year!
