COMING SOON ✂️🧶 SECOND CHANCE CRAFTS
A brand new creative reuse space inside Craft Coop.

Every crafter has a stash of materials they no longer use… so why not share the love and help inspire somebody else’s next project?

We’re creating beautifully curated shelves of donated craft materials, giving quality supplies a second life instead of leaving them forgotten in cupboards and craft rooms.

Think yarn, fabric, paper crafts, haberdashery, tools, patterns, craft kits and creative treasures looking for a new home.

Affordable creative supplies. Sustainable crafting. Community sharing.

So while you’re sorting through that legendary “I’ll use it one day” drawer, why not pop into Craft Coop and donate your quality surplus craft materials to help us get Second Chance Crafts rolling?

♻️ Share the stash. Spark new creativity.

All donations are permanently gifted to Craft Coop, with proceeds helping support our wider community outreach and creative projects.

🌺 Windsor Community Poppy Project – Let’s Make This Together 🌺

Who would love to see this artists impression, come to reality?   ...It’s happening!

Throughout the next few months, Windsor people are coming together to create a powerful, large‑scale community remembrance installation made from thousands of handmade poppies.  You can get involved!

Led by Craft Coop CIC, and working with The Royal British Legion, the Windsor Community Poppy Project invites people of all ages and abilities to take part in a shared act of remembrance, creativity and connection. The installation will be centred at St John the Baptist Church (Windsor Parish Church), forming the heart of a wider poppy trail across Windsor including locations such as Clewer Memorial Recreation Ground, Spital Cemetery and Broom Farm (subject to permissions).

🧶 How you can get involved:

Make a poppy – knitted, crocheted, sewn, felted or created your own way

Join in as an individual, school, care home, community group or organisation

Take part using recycled plastic bottles – an accessible option for people with limited dexterity

Offer a soft pledge of how many poppies you might make to help organisers plan the display

Donate wool or materials, or support the project as a local sponsor

Every poppy matters - they don’t have to be perfect. This project is about inclusion, remembrance and community spirit.

📅 Key dates:

Now! Get involved – can you make some poppies, or donate materials to those who can?

July, August 2026 – making and creating gathers pace.  Drop off poppies as you make!

Sept 2026: Poppies gathered together to be shaped and made into final installation

Late Oct 2026: Installation year for the Windsor Community Poppy Project

November 2026: The ambition becomes reality with this powerful mark of remembrance.

Happy Easter from Craft Coop!

We couldn't be more proud of what our Camberley team and local community have created together.

You may have spotted some familiar faces around The Square Camberley. Our team restored and gave a fresh new look to a collection of Love Camberley bunnies, now part of the Easter holiday trail at The Square shopping centre.

But our favourite part? One bunny was left completely blank.

Over the past week or so, local children came into the shop through our free Mini Coopers programme and decorated it themselves. Flower by flower, colour by colour, made entirely by small hands.

In a world full of screens, there's something really important about giving children the space to just create. No instructions, no rules, just a blank canvas and the freedom to make it their own. It builds confidence, sparks imagination and reminds us what play is really for.

This is what Craft Coop does best. Creativity, community and making things together.

However you're spending it, we hope this Easter brings you a little rest, a little joy and whatever fills your cup. Happy Easter from all of us. 🌸🐣

From this… to this! 🐰✨

A huge shoutout to our brilliant Craft Coop Camberley team who have completely transformed these Easter bunnies for the town. What started as a slightly tired bunch has turned into a joyful, colourful line-up ready to welcome the community.

We’re delighted to be supporting Love Camberley as part of the Bunny Hunt 2026, a free, family-friendly Easter trail running from 28 March to 12 April.

Here’s how to get involved:
🐰 Pick up a trail map from The Square Customer Services Desk
🐰 Find all 7 giant bunnies hidden around the town centre
🐰 Collect the letters on their collars to solve the seasonal word
🐰 Submit your entry at The Square or The Atrium (upper level) for a chance to win

The winner will be announced week commencing 13 April.

If you’re in Camberley, come and say hello to our bunnies outside the shop, follow the trail and enjoy a bit of Easter fun with the family 💛

This is what Craft Coop is all about… creativity, community and bringing joy to the town centre.

As part of our 15th anniversary celebrations, we're welcoming back one of our OG makers!

Rhian Winslade Ceramics was part of the Craft Coop family in our early days nd we are so happy to have her back spotlighting in our Maidenhead shop for the next few weeks. 🏺✨

Based in Windsor, Rhian came to ceramics via a wonderfully unconventional route - music retail, family life and a lot of curiosity - before finding clay and never looking back. Her beautiful pieces are hand-cut from rolled porcelain, imprinted with her signature designs, then fired and glazed before being embellished with porcelain birds, glass beads, fabric, paper and even real acorn cups. No two pieces are ever quite the same.

Pop in to see her work for yourself - and remember, as each piece is individually handmade, what you see is a one-off!

March is a month full of celebrations of women, from International Women’s Day to Mothering Sunday and Women’s History Month.

At Craft Coop CIC, we are also looking back at 15 Years: Women Crafting Community ahead of the sad, imminent closure of the Nicholsons Centre. We are starting with a tribute to Teresa Mills, our Co-Founder and Artistic Director.
