Second Chance Crafts has been such a hit that we've run low on stock!

If you've got good quality crafting bits gathering dust - yarn, fabric, paper craft supplies, paints, tools, haberdashery, anything crafty - we'd love to give it a second life.

Drop your donations to us at Craft Coop Camberley (The Square Shopping Centre) or Craft Coop Windsor (Windsor Royal Shopping Centre) and we'll do the rest. Great materials, great prices, less waste. Everyone wins.

đŸŒș Poppies, creativity and the friendships that flourish along the way đŸŒș

This International Friendship Day, we’re celebrating the wonderful connections that grow when people come together to create something meaningful.

At Craft Coop, it began with our OGs: the Thursday afternoon craft group and the Tuesday evening Craft & Sip group in Maidenhead. Since then, new groups have blossomed at Our Bracknell and, more recently, at Our Windsor all largely through 'Our Michelle'!

These free, welcoming spaces give people the chance to meet like-minded souls, share skills and work towards a common creative goal. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been involved from the beginning or have only just joined us. Newer faces such as Jo, Caroline and Charlie are already part of the story, alongside people like Bou who joined Isabella’s free Learn to Crochet a Poppy sessions, and the many community groups we’ve met throughout this project.

Every poppy carries a little piece of somebody’s time, care and creativity. Together, they have become something even more special: conversations, smiles, confidence, belonging and new friendships.

That’s the magic of community crafting. We may come together to make poppies, but along the way, we make connections too.

Happy International Friendship Day to every member of our growing creative community. Thank you for helping one another smile and enjoy the wonderfully human side of life. ❀

We’re big supporters of Thames Hospice and their fabulous Trunks Across The Thames arts trail which is taking place across the wider area this Summer. To celebrate, we have a special colouring wall created by the brilliant sign writer Sarah Black Art and SignWorks, in addition to elephant themed ‘Mini Coopers’ free children’s crafts each week over the holidays, plus some lovely elephant themed handmade goodies to raise more funds for this great local cause đŸ©¶đŸ˜

Happy International Friendship Day! 💛

Friendship grows in the most wonderful ways. Sometimes over a cup of tea, sometimes while learning a new craft, and often through the simple joy of creating something side by side.

At Craft Coop, we’ve been lucky to see so many friendships begin around our workshop tables, through our community projects, and between the incredible makers who support one another every day. Those connections are at the heart of everything we do.

Today we’re celebrating all the friends who craft together, shop local together, volunteer together, and encourage each other’s creativity.

Tag a friend you’d love to bring to Craft Coop, or tell us about someone who introduced you to the joy of making. We’d love to hear your story. 💛

Take the weight off your feet
and perhaps your day too. đŸŒș

If you’re shopping in Windsor this week, why not pause for a moment in our giant Windsor Community Poppy Project deckchair, located between Sþstrene Grene and Daniel in Windsor Royal?

Our lovely June, from Starfish Enterprise at Craft Coop Windsor (and a familiar face from the Windsor ukulele scene), certainly did. Despite always being on the go, she reminded us that sometimes the most productive thing you can do is simply stop for five minutes and enjoy the sunshine.

We think we could all be a little more June. ☀

So if you’re passing by, take a seat, snap a photo, tag us, and enjoy a well-earned rest before carrying on with your day.

And while you’re there, why not find out how you can make, donate or sponsor a poppy and become part of Windsor’s community remembrance display this autumn? đŸŒș Windsor Community Poppy Project – Project Overview.pdf

🐘 Handmade with heart. Supporting a cause that matters.

If you’ve been enjoying the Trunks Across the Thames art trail, why not take a little piece of it home?

Our shelves at Craft Coop Windsor are now filled with beautiful handmade elephant-inspired gifts, lovingly created and donated by talented local makers and community groups including Our Maidenhead, Our Bracknell and Crafty Little Mondays, alongside many generous individual crafters.

From knitted elephants and crocheted keepsakes to bunting, accessories and other unique handcrafted gifts, there’s something for every elephant lover.

If craft isn’t your thing, we’ve even got something for the beer lovers. We’re proud to be stocking the limited edition ‘Tales of Hope’ ale from Windsor & Eton Brewery, created especially in support of the Trunks Across the Thames trail.

Best of all, every penny raised from these handmade products goes directly to Thames Hospice, helping fund the incredible care they provide to local people and their families.

By choosing one of these gifts, you’re not only supporting local creativity, you’re helping turn a community art trail into lasting support for a much-loved local charity.

Pop in, browse the collection and, while you’re here, don’t forget to meet our two Mini Elephants taking part in the trail.
