Stubbings Estate is located to the west side of Maidenhead in the county of Berkshire, just 30 minutes from central London. The Estate attracts a regular flow of customers to its famous Garden Centre, and lovely Café housed within a glasshouse structure overlooking an 18th century walled garden. Alongside this, the Estate hosts an events programme throughout the year, including Opera and Shakespea

re nights, Christmas events, and much, much more. The gardens of the historic house are opened on a number of weekends during the year, as well as being available for private hire for weddings and functions.

Join trained herbalist Justine Gens Justine - green Ⓐnarchist for an immersive 2.5–3 hour guided forage walk, where you’ll learn how to identify, sustainably harvest and make the most of nourishing wild plants, berries, seeds and fungi.

Along the way, Justine will share fascinating insights into the medicinal properties, folklore and ecology of the plants you discover, as well as tips for wild cooking and sustainable foraging. 🌿

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of Dudley Good, founder of Stubbings Nursery & Café.

Dudley and his family moved to Stubbings Estate in 1977, and it was here that he built the foundations of Stubbings Nursery & Café as you know it today. His vision, passion and love for this special place have left a lasting mark on the estate and the wider local community.

At his heart, Dudley was a devoted family man. His greatest legacy will always be the family he leaves behind — his beloved wife, three children and six grandchildren.

We are incredibly grateful for everything Dudley gave to Stubbings, and for the memories he created for so many over the years.

He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on at Stubbings for generations to come.
