I honestly cannot believe I’m writing this… Inferno Beauty is a DOUBLE FINALIST at the Kent Hair & Beauty Awards 2026! 🔥🏆🏆

I have been shortlisted for:

✨ New Business of the Year
✨ Mobile Business of the Year

Inferno Beauty is still such a young business, so to receive recognition in not one, but two categories means more to me than I can properly put into words.

I completely changed careers, spent three years retraining and built this business while raising my daughter as a single parent. There have been plenty of challenges along the way, but I have continued learning, adapting and putting everything I have into creating a professional mobile service that makes beauty and wellbeing treatments more accessible.

A huge thank you to every client who has booked with me, rebooked, left a review, recommended me or supported Inferno Beauty in any way. Your trust has helped turn my new little business into an award-finalist one—and I genuinely couldn’t have achieved this without you.

Cancellation – Deposits & Rescheduling

In the nicest way possible, whatever the reason for a cancellation, the impact on a small business remains the same. An appointment that I’m unable to refill is lost income.

This business supports my family and pays my bills, which is why I can no longer absorb the cost of repeated cancellations and rescheduling.

I will always be understanding that life happens, but going forward my deposit policy will apply to every booking, without exception. 🤍

Well… I’m having a bit of a moment. 😭🤍

I found out today that I’d been nominated for the Kent Health Hair & Beauty Awards 2026, which completely floored me.

And then I realised I’d completely missed another email to say someone else has nominated me too.

TWO separate nominations. 😭

I don’t think I can properly explain what that means to me.

I’ve worked so bloody hard to build Inferno Beauty. I started as a student, have continued training and learning, saved for what I needed and built my little business myself while juggling being a mum, caring responsibilities and everything else life likes to throw at us.

There have been plenty of moments where I’ve questioned myself, worried whether I’m doing enough or wondered whether any of the hard work is actually being noticed.

Apparently it is. 🥹

Reading the things these two women wrote about me genuinely made me cry. Not just because they praised my treatments, but because they noticed me — the work, the growth, the warmth I try to give my clients and everything that has gone into building this.

For the first time in a very, very long time, I feel really seen.

So I’m going to do something I probably don’t do often enough and say it publicly:

I am so bloody proud of myself. 🤍

I’ll be accepting my nomination. 🔥

Whatever happens from here, this already means more to me than the people who nominated me will probably ever realise.

Every little addition to this trolley is another step towards launching microneedling at Inferno Beauty.

As a small business owner, and the only person bringing an income into my household, I can’t invest in everything all at once. Building a business takes time, patience and careful planning.

The truth is, every treatment you book, every recommendation you make and every bit of support you show allows me to reinvest back into Inferno Beauty. Whether that’s training, equipment or products, you’re helping me continue to grow and offer even more to my clients.

I’m a firm believer in doing things properly rather than rushing, so I’m taking my time to make sure everything is in place before I launch.
