Dear Friend,

I don't know what you are going through today, but I want you to know that someone cares about you.

Maybe people have judged you because of the clothes you wear. Maybe they looked down on you because of your skin color, your financial situation, your ethnicity, your job, or your past. Some people don't even need a reason—they criticize, reject, and try to make you feel small. Even when you do everything right, they still find a way to pull you down.

Perhaps you've been called a fool. Perhaps you've been ignored, laughed at, or treated as if your life has no value.

If that's how you feel today, this message is for you.

You may be saying, "I thought church would be a place where I could find peace. I expected love and acceptance, but instead I found favoritism, rejection, and disappointment. If I can't find love there, where do I go?"

My dear friend, I am truly sorry if people have hurt you. But please don't let the failures of people make you walk away from Jesus.

People can disappoint you. Pastors can disappoint you. Friends can disappoint you. Even those you trusted the most can fail you. But Jesus never changes. His love for you never changes.

Even if the whole world points a finger at you and says, "You're a fool," Jesus looks at you with love. He doesn't see you as a failure. He doesn't see you as worthless. He sees someone worth dying for.

Think about David. He wasn't the strongest or the most respected. His own family didn't believe in him. When the prophet came to anoint the next king, David wasn't even invited. He was forgotten by everyone—but he was never forgotten by God.

While people overlooked David, God was preparing him.

The same God who lifted David can lift you. The same God who opened doors for David can open doors for you. The same God who turned a shepherd into a king can transform your life in ways you cannot imagine.

So don't spend your life chasing people's approval. Their opinions change, but God's love never does.

You are not forgotten.

You are not abandoned.

You are not a mistake.

You are not a fool.

You are precious to Jesus.

He knows every tear you have cried. He knows every silent battle you have fought.

Is Your Pastor Toxic?

If your pastor or spiritual mentor acts like a mediator between you and God, you may be in a spiritually unhealthy relationship.

God does not want anyone to replace your direct relationship with Him. Spiritual leaders are meant to point people to God, not make people dependent on themselves. The Bible describes the relationship between Christ and the Church as that of a husband and wife, emphasizing a direct covenant relationship with Jesus.

If a pastor or leader says, "I have spiritual authority over you" in a way that demands unquestioning control or makes you feel you cannot seek God without them, be cautious. Healthy spiritual leadership equips believers to grow in their own relationship with God. Controlling leadership does the opposite—it creates dependence and can eventually damage a person's spiritual life.

It may seem harmless at first, but over time, allowing someone to control both your spiritual and personal life can leave you discouraged, spiritually weak, and unable to walk confidently with God.

There is a saying: "An illegitimate relationship is like dried fish. To those who don't eat it, it smells terrible; but to those who do, it seems appealing." In the same way, unhealthy spiritual relationships can become so familiar that people no longer recognize the harm they are causing.

Whether it is a pastor, prophet, mentor, or someone calling themselves a "spiritual father" or "spiritual mother," if they are controlling your spiritual life instead of leading you to Christ, it is time to examine that relationship carefully.

Repent where necessary, return to God, and build a personal relationship with Him. Good spiritual leaders help people become more dependent on Christ—not more dependent on themselves.

HEARTBREAKING 💔 😥
After the release, I decided to varnish the painting as I usually do but this time I thought let me try the liquid Matt varnish.
I did it with confidence but the outcome made me regret it. It dulled the glow and ruined the gold foiling and guilding. The blue lost its brilliance and the colours became shallow

If any of you know the pain and the frustration you'd have to overcome to go back and redo a commissioned art work of this size. It sure wasn't a joke.

I had to gather confidence, courage and determination to redo this work again and ensure I do it full justice like I did the first time.

And so I white washed it with white acrylic gesso and I restarted the work. Redoing every step of the art again
