Finally! My latest installation…something I have been hoping to acquire for some time now. This is the Casanova console by Reflex Angelo featuring Venetian Murano gilt legs and a lacquered black base. ‘Perfect for a lively hall with kids and dogs’ …or not but I am delighted to have it in place.

A little antique treasure set ✨

I recently acquired this beautiful set of six French enamel buttons on gilt metal marked PARIS.

Hand-painted florals, cobalt blue enamel and wonderfully ornate gilt metal — believed to date to around 1850-1870, Napoleon III ish.

I love finding these little pieces of history… and imagining the beautiful garment they once adorned.

They don’t make em like they used to! This set is now available for a new home

A work in progress…this is an early 19th century rosewood and brass inlaid hall table or breakfast table. I have been looking for one for a long time and I came across this one in auction not long ago. It needs a lot of the brass filling in, some veneer adding in and completely French polishing…the last picture is current status…still more to go but it’s a lot better
