Even though it’s now half-term and I’ve taken the kids away for the weekend I’ve been busy finishing off some jack and sal’s, and playing with other ideas. Still sticking with the vintage make do and mend ethos we looked at beaded pumpkins, I made a personal wreath hat with an oyster shell for a dog! And also started decorating a few other oysters!!!

Influenced by my children’s love for jack the pumpkin king and a certain cute little ghost dog, I made these NBC peg dolls.

Each one is unique as they are never the same, £12 for the trio or £4.75 each.

For a dome or jar and lights it’s £14.50

A lady wanted a steampunk inspired hat with badges to give away that could go on the plane with her and a fold up one to go in her suit case. As it was in Nevada she needed a rim to keep the sum out of her eyes.

Inspired by the wooden toys of the 1940s I created wooden planes and even managed to make a spitfire and an imaginative Captain America plane.
