I was sent these stunning photos by a customer today who ordered a bucket of DIY flowers. She had recently been on a flower arranging course and wanted to get creative and have a play with some more unusual flowers she couldn’t buy in the local supermarket… we met at my open garden day for British Flowers Week - 15-21 June 2026 back in June this year and it’s always lovely when I get an email, call or message afterwards to place an order.
All of the flowers I grow are varieties that are unique and have no air miles. It’s just me, sowing the seed, potting on, planting out, watering and nurturing my flowers and to see them arranged like this always makes me smile!
Use this post as your prompt to seek out your local flower farmer by visiting Flowers From the Farm 🌻 and support British grown flowers 💫

Yesterday I harvested the rest of the dried flowers and grasses I have grown this year. 🌾
A new one for me this year is Tansy and I know it’s going to brighten those dark Winter days in 6 months time with its bright sunshine yellow colour! 💛 Photos featuring: Helicrysum, Celosia, Tansy & Achillea The Pearl ✨

Some beautiful Summer bouquets went out today to 5 teachers at my son’s primary school.
I loved putting these together and working with so much variety at this time of year, plus the gorgeous sunset colours and textures ✨

July is here and we are in another heat wave.
It’s certainly a challenge to keep everything going, watered, fed, nourished in this intense dry weather. The sweet peas are still flowering, yet you can tell they are tiring of the heat.
I have a lovely selection of flowers coming to Crudwell Strawberry Fayre this Sunday 12th July. Ammi, daucus, achillea, antirrhinums, phlox, nicotiana, sweet peas to name a few 💐
Please come and say hello of your local, it’s been a tough year for flower farmers and your support means such a lot 🤍
