Meet the Teague Team – Steve H ✨

Steve has been part of the Teague family for 14 years and is one of our most experienced engineers, with particular expertise in barrel work.

His role covers a wide range of specialist tasks, including Multichoking, fitting and finishing chokes, choke adjustments, barrel honing, preparing guns for proofing, and screw cutting barrels for moderators. Steve is also one of our engineers responsible for porting chokes and supports Ivan in Goods In, making him an integral part of the workshop.

Growing up around guns, Steve has always had a passion for shooting. He particularly enjoyed walked-up game shooting and spending time with friends shooting clays. Over the years, his interest shifted towards working with dogs, and he spent many seasons picking up on shoots.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Teague, Steve jokes, "Working with the legend that is Ivan!" On a more serious note, he says it's the people that make Teague special. As a close-knit team, everyone knows and supports one another, creating a friendly atmosphere that's often hard to find in larger companies. He's also proud to be part of such a respected and well-known name in the shooting industry.

✨️Avon Smooth Bore Gun Club charity shoot 2026✨️

Congratulations to ASB Gun Club (a small non for profit clay pigeon shoot located just outside of Bristol) who raised £862.50 for the Bristol PDSA Pet Hospital - we were happy to support this event with a few accessories put into their prize raffle, and we are so pleased to hear it was a great success! 🤩
