A specialist in the language of flowers Persephone Violet aims to provide customers with a unique product and experience. Emily the owner of Persephone Violet is Level 4 qualified and has over twelve years experience within the floristry industry. Working alongside Emily is a fabulous small team of florists that aim to provide great flowers that are fantastic value for money.

We are hiring!

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team on weekday afternoons.

Persephone Violet is looking for our next Flower Shop Star, an extra pair of hands are needed in our busy flower shop to start in September (date to be agreed). Come and join our friendly team working in our high street shop!

The hours are 4-5pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. More adhoc hours available to cover holiday, sickness and busy times on Tuesday afternoons and Saturdays around those contracted when required. Flexibility is appreciated, but not expected.

This job role entails helping our floral team tidy up, organise the shop, clean and fill buckets, prep jobs for our floral displays and getting our front display back inside the shop at closing time amongst other things. Full training will be given and support from our wider team is on hand always. A can do attitude is essential. No floristry experience necessary for this position, but a love for flowers and plants is desirable. There is a possibility of learning some floristry skills along the way but this isn’t a florist position.

You must be 14 or older to apply and be committed to working the hours required regularly.
