We arent selling them ! We’re currently looking into bringing GPS ring data directly into PigeonIQ but differently then ever before.

Live GPS rings are getting a lot of talk in the sport right now. Being able to watch young birds on a training toss, see where they break line, and check their altitude in real time is a huge step forward.

Our focus isn’t just plotting dots on a map, we’re working on better ways to visualise that flight data cleanly and turn it into deeper, more extensive insights across your entire loft dashboard based on the results coming through.

Quick update - Faster pedigree and results reading

We've been testing the reading engine that powers pedigree, clocking sheet, and result uploads. It's now running on a newer model, and the difference is real:

Pedigree uploads: roughly 3× faster — around 8 seconds instead of 25
Clocking sheets: about 2× faster
Result sheets: nearly 3× faster — 9 seconds instead of 24

Same accuracy.

What are peoples thoughts ?

Our young birds are flying spot on in training - nice clean lib, straight home.

Then first race you lose a few... we've all been there.

Yeah, birds of prey are having plenty and that's gutting - not ignoring that.

But parking that for 2 mins because that's out of our hands today - race day is a different animal to training.

In training it's just your batch on your own in a free sky. On race day it's hundreds of libs going up within the hour and all our birds' paths crossing each other on the way home.

And clashing isn't just birds going the same way - it's head on, across, one batch catching another up from behind... young ones circle for ages after lib to get their bearings wether that is at the race point or 5 miles down the road, takes one clash at the wrong time and the whole lot get waylaid and dragged miles off line.

So how many other batches do you reckon yours crossed on Saturday? 2? 5? 10? 20+?
