This summer I created a little Christmas world for the Liberty Open Call ✨

I imagined beautiful Liberty as a dolls house, with my Katie Morris Paper Co. characters inviting you inside to discover their world of Christmas magic, hidden behind the scenes in the Liberty atrium… decorating the tree, wrapping presents, delivering cards & filling the store with festive wonder.🎄

I created a little peek into a Christmas story unfolding inside Liberty, in my own Katie Morris Paper Co. world ✨

Liberty has always felt like the perfect place for a little bit of whimsy & storytelling, & I loved imagining what might happen when the doors close & animal elves take over…

There’s something about dolls houses, where you can peek inside & imagine a whole story happening on each floor, in every room, that has always enchanted me. I wanted to bring that feeling into my own characters & create something that felt completely me + Liberty ☺️

This was a dream of mine, but not every dream plays out exactly as we imagine 🤍 I do think there’s magic in going for a dream… every idea & attempt takes us somewhere new, sometimes somewhere we never expected.

I’m so grateful I had the chance to make this Christmas story come to life, & I’m so glad I can share it with you ✨
