This Afternoon, myself and Greta was invited to see The Mayor and Mayoress Of The City Of Salford. Robin & Karen Garrido.
They We’re Absolutely Delightful With Us, Making Us Feel Very At Ease.
I was Given the:
“MAYORS CITIZENS AWARD”
It certainly was a Honour and a privilege to accept it.
I’m one Proud Salford Lad.

As ever Were totally Grateful to Tony & Carl. Who are amazing as we all know. They awarded Me & Greta: The Salford Community Champions award:
Thank you so much, it’s a privilege to receive it from yourselves.

Also Councillor, John Mullen came as well , as it’s always a pleasure, to see him too.

But on a more serious note…

I am truly humbled & deeply grateful for the incredible generosity shown by the people of Eccles & Salford.

From a single tin of beans to hundreds of pounds worth of groceries, and from every donation to every Charity Pie purchased, your kindness has been overwhelming. Time & again, you have opened your hearts to help those who need it most.

Your compassion, generosity, & genuine care for others have been nothing short of remarkable. It is a powerful reminder that when a community comes together, extraordinary things can be achieved.

On behalf of everyone who will benefit from your support, thank you for your kindness, your encouragement, and your unwavering spirit of giving.

Eccles and Salford should be proud of what they have accomplished together.

This Evening, I was in my one of my own Masonic Lodge:

ANDREW LODGE 3328
Part of the Trafford Group of Lodges in Eccles

I was asked to mention the SALFORD 100 PIE Charity fundraiser and how we were hoping to raise £500.00. The pies actually raised an incredible £1,000.00 for local charities.

I was very surprised that, through a raffle for a bottle of whisky, along with generous donations from individual lodge members, we raised a massive £200.00 for the Salford 100 Pie Charity.

The bottle was later re-donated to support another local charity.

I would personally like to thank all the members of Andrew Lodge who have literally given hundreds of pounds in support of various charities.

Also, special thanks to Mr Tony Flynn and Mr Carl Davidson, who helped source charities that we could support.

And finally, thank you to the very generous people of Eccles and Salford.

Not forgetting all the local politicians and councillors from all parties who helped highlight and support the charity.

Tonight I was invited to Stretford with Trafford lodge 4379 in Swinton, Salford.
Where the WM of the Lodge.
Jivanjit Singh Saimbhi.
Gave a generous £100.00 toward the Salford 100. Charity pot.
Also in attendance who are helping to fill the pot in From WEST LANCS. W.Bros J. Lawes, myself, the WM. C. Sutton & P. Newton.
During the Evening, another Mason who wanted to to remain anonymous gave me £10.00 thank you.
Also two Mason’s had bet that I would have done something? I didn’t I won another £5.00 of each for the pot. 120.00 on the night for charity not a bad evening for the charity.
