Location screws are used where accurate positioning matters.

The unthreaded locating section helps position the component, while the thread secures it in place.

Copper isn't just here for the looks. 👀

These M4 x 50 socket cap screws are made from copper - and there's a reason you'd choose copper over a standard steel fastener.

⚡ Excellent electrical conductivity
🌡️ Excellent thermal conductivity
🛡️ Good corrosion resistance

So yes, they look different...

But the copper is doing considerably more than making them stand out in the fastener box.

Good-looking AND technically useful. We like that combination. 😂

It's a special engineer's key, manufactured to our customer's own drawing.

When measuring a socket shoulder screw, the overall length isn't the whole story.

You need to measure:

📏 Shoulder diameter – across the smooth shoulder

📏 Shoulder length – the smooth section only

🔩 Thread size – the threaded section

🔩 Thread length – how much of it is threaded

Because when it comes to shoulder screws, where you measure from matters.

Small detail. Big difference. 👌
