Hey everyone, Lydia here. I have some news💌

I am closing my Etsy business, and will no longer be selling notebooks.

By God’s grace, I will be graduating in July - and my post-uni preparations have already begun. The next few months will be dedicated to my Final Major Project, and seeking the Lord’s will in my future plans. Very exciting😆

Perhaps this post wasn’t necessary, but I just wanted to say the biggest thank you to everyone who has encouraged & supported🫶🏼

This Christmas has been a special one…a time when the good news of Jesus Christ has really hit home. On this day we celebrate the birth of a Saviour. But what does that mean?

It means He was born to die. The ultimate sacrifice. For you. For me. God’s own Son, God Himself, made forgiveness possible. Through belief in His name, we are completely washed of our sins - past, present & future. We are promised abundant life with God…always. Loved by Him. Yep, that’s what eternal life is.

That’s not all. While we’re on this earth, we get to enjoy all of God’s gifts?! In 2022 God has opened my eyes to the true extent of His blessings. One of which is 100% this little business that I simply adore…and every. Single. One. Of. You. You enrich my life. So thank you.

Yesterday I completed my penultimate semester of uni before graduation & I couldn’t have done it without these two fr🤞🏼🌷I was so glad to paint these notebooks & so happy with how they turned out

This morning I was reflecting on Jesus’ mercy and forgiveness.

It’s in those moments when we become so aware of our sin, of our flawed human nature, that we begin to understand the necessity and magnitude of Jesus’ sacrifice.

Because of His death, we are able to come to God and ask for forgiveness, knowing He is merciful.

Jesus made that possible.

Hey friends! It’s been a while. I’ve been taking a little break from my shop because (you guessed it👀) university deadlines are approaching thick and fast. It’s a blessing to be able to study so I’m giving it my all!

I painted this notebook yesterday evening, for a lovely lady who ordered six others for her Bible study group! I love how it turned out💕

Scripture is God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16) and alive (Hebrews 4:12). God’s word is central to the Christian faith and it’s why my notebooks, all of them, are adorned with scripture. These words are powerful, true and it’s necessary to remind ourselves of them daily 🌸🌱

This week I was asked to paint a set of six notebooks. The customer wanted the scripture “we do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”

She requested a different design & colour scheme on each.

I absolutely love how they turned out💐

On a day to day basis, I post photos of hand painted notebooks. Today we have something a bit different…and it’s the most important message of all.

Last night, I struggled to sleep. My mind was racing with thoughts. What was I thinking about? This right here.

Finally, when the clock struck 1am, I jumped out of bed and wrote down everything I was thinking. This was what came out. The whole day, I’ve felt led to post it.
