Another finished knife and sheath. The sheath was a challenge to sew by hand as it was 2cm or 6 layers of leather. Anyway I think it is a real beauty. The knife is the Harrier a great small game or just a carver. Made from 14c28n stainless, blade 3.5” or 9cm in length and 3.2mm thick. Just finishing this sheath up and I can say 6 layers of leather is a real pain to stitch. The finished article is simply beautiful though.

Ok Guys a quick question on steel. As a knife maker I make knives for a people who use there knives for their needs, ie wet conditions or in contact with blood or maybe a wood working knife.
My question is what’s your steel of choice. These knives are just about to go into heat treatment all stainless 14c28n
