Friday Shop Style

It’s been a mad few weeks hence why I’ve not been posting as much as I’d like. We’ve moved house to a monster project so if I’m looking ever so dusty and disheveled when you visit that’s why.

And finally the kids are back at school so for many of us that’s the official start of Autumn.

With that it’s been a delight to wear more than one layer and soon welcome the deliveries of Flannels, jackets and boots.

Buying Appointments in the big smoke.

Friday Shop Style — Olive fatigues, a modern heritage staple.

We’re bursting with green trousers right now. I love the contrast an olive trouser gives to indigo and, as I’ve said a million times, it’s a much easier combo than double denim.

I’m sure someone can correct me in the comments, but it felt like the olive fatigue really caught on around the time Inventory Magazine launched, especially with OrSlow’s take on them. A seamless segue, as new season OrSlow drops next week.

Let’s talk about white socks….

I saw a comment on one of posts having a dig about his white socks, which is sort of the equivalent of criticising Lionel Messi’s footy skills 🤦‍♂️😂.
Maybe it’s the permanent images of Elvis or MJ wearing them in stark contrast to dark shoes which creates the fear. (Tho no surprises, big 50s Elvis fan)
I’ve found pairing them with a pair of well worn jeans or more earthy textures an easy entry point.

I’m wearing the new Pike Brothers OG106 Overshirt with my well worn Sugar Cane jeans, and my 11 year old Alden Penny Loafers. Most impotently the white socks are from Allevol.

I’m very interested to hear everyone’s thoughts on white socks, love & hate, + how you wear them??

Bank Holiday Weekend Shop Scenes & Style

Lots going on this weekend, firstly we are open Friday, Saturday and doing the bank holiday Monday as a bonus day.
I keep thinking about opening up Mondays so let’s see how it goes.

New deliveries from Allevol this weekend of their new copped Tee, see the last reel for fit.
New season OrSlow arriving next week.
