The story of how Voi Collective actually startedā¦
My best friend called me one day to ask if she could use my employee discount. She loved what we were making, but after *justtt* buying her first house, she couldnāt quite justify the retail price.
It got me thinking.
I spoke to my mum, and together we started our research. We looked around and realised there was a pretty big gap in the middle. You could either spend a lot on beautiful, design led tableware, or head to the high street and compromise on what you really wanted.
And we thoughtā¦ What if you could have access to genuinely beautiful, well made pieces, made by the same incredible suppliers as some of the brands you already know and love, without feeling like youād just emptied your bank account?
The more we looked into it, the more we realised there really was something here and somehow, two years later, here we are.
Voi has grown and changed so much since that first conversation, but the reason we started it is still at the heart of everything we do: finding really good things, working directly with brilliant suppliers and making them accessible to more people.
