I've always wanted to shed light on Lemon's journey, not in summary but in detail, of how she went from fearful to what she is today. I'll be putting together a series of the many things we've worked with her every single day just so she's more confident and no longer lives with us in fear.

So here's her first month when we only ever approach to feed, clean and try to coax her to take a tasty treat if she permits it. If she ever steps towards us for it, it was a win and it was all we asked then.

It's a given that Baby Fruit and the Fruits would grow up, grow old, and share so many little chapters of their lives together.

So when the time felt right, we started introducing him into their world — slowly, gently, one little step at a time.

And naturally, we started with the thing they all love most… treats.

She eats like she hasn't eaten in days when she's literally just been eating since an hour before bedtime!

How I keep their beaks busy while I pop Lemon off to bed. Here we were toying around with different bedtime routines to see which fits. What use to all to bed at 7pm, is now Lemon in bed by 7pm and then the rest out till 8:30pm, allowing them and us some time to spend with each other around parts of the house rather than just isolating them birdroom.
