Last big push for our first pottery workshop this Thursday evening.

Ring in the spooky season as summer gives way to autumn. Come paint a bright orange Halloween plate with us.

Christine is excited to teach techniques for non-carbon image transfer, scraffiti, and perfect silhouettes ... all to create this vibrant design.

Anyone at any level of skill or experience is welcome, and you will be amazed how gorgeous a creation you can achieve with a few simple practices anyone can pick up.

£30 gets you a plate, all the necessary kit, time in the studio, and the workshop lessons.

We're excited about this one!

Since opening our doors in September '24, we've kept our focus narrow. We strive to provide a relaxed and accessible creative outlet five days every week, and we occasionally open after dark to provide a chilled out pub alternative and low key night out with some cheeky sips between brush strokes.

We're becoming passionate to expand by one more step, and that's providing occasional workshops to teach fun techniques while creating something beautiful as a group. We have experienced these in our own learning journey, and they are just so much fun. Those who don't lay claim to any creative ability are amazed by what they make, and those who start with exceptional skill end up with presentation-quality keepsakes.

As recovering Americans, we think starting with the newly popular Halloween occasion just makes sense somehow. So we've procured some special paint in bright orange and yearn to show you how it can beautify a dinner plate.

Come and join us on September 3rd -- we've sold some of our seats but have plenty remaining. £30 gets you a plate, some cool kit, and instruction on some amazing techniques you'll find useful and be drawn to apply in other projects.

🎉NEW EVENTS at Kil'm Time Pottery Studio!🎉

If we haven't met, we're a paint-your-own-pottery studio located in M29 in Greater Manchester. We offer a calming crafting experience in a chilled out atmosphere with great tunes in the background and hot/cold drinks available. We have 120+ pottery selections and the best paints and brushes you'll find.

All ages welcome (except as noted for special events) and all abilities enjoy creating in our studio. If you're new to it, you'll find it easy to access, fun, and relaxing. If you're an artist, you'll find plenty of creative space to inhabit in this activity.

Tickets now on sale for the following events:

🎨Gruffalo Read & Paint (25/08 at 10 AM). £22 per ticket, which includes on child and one supervising adult. We'll read the classic, then paint a Gruffalo figurine, fired and ready by Sept. 2nd. Note: due to space and safety, no high chairs for this event, so we're targeting 2y/+ age group. We need to sell 10 tickets to put this on, and if we don't for some reason, we will refund all sales.

🎨Halloween Pottery Workshop (03/09 at 7 PM). £30 per ticket includes a dinner plate, all supplies, and instruction on some new techniques to help you create a vibrantly gorgeous, display quality plate with a Halloween theme. They'll be fired and ready by Sept. 10th. Adults and teenagers only for this evening workshop, and BYOB is welcome.

We also still have seats for Paint & Sip Fridays on Sept 11, 18 and Oct 9, 23. All start at 6:30 and run until 9ish. £6pp includes a glass of fizz and sweet treat, BYOB welcome too. Cost on the night driven by what you choose to paint -- £20pp is a good guide. Adults only for these evening events. They tend to sell out fast, so don't hold back.

Also in the photo gallery is a snapshot of our bookings between now and school resuming. We recommend booking during this time as we do get busy -- even on weekdays.

Thanks to our customers for making last Saturday's Paint & Sip another amazing night 🤩 A great time full of laughs, and we loved welcoming so many new faces painting with us for the first time.

We counted them up this morning and realized we've held 27 evening events in less than two years of trading. 😮 From summer cocktails to Easter eggs to the three nights of Paintmas, we've had quite a journey with our evening sessions. 🌈

They're a great alternative to clubbing/pubbing or more expensive entertainment. Chilled out vibe, calming experience, yet enough bounce to qualify as a great night out, all folded into a studio full of painters and sippers who can banter for England. 😊🙃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

So ... let's do some more.

4 more Fridays in September & October are now available to book -- see the attached for more details and don't hesitate -- the 11/09 session is already 50% booked before we've even announced it. 🫶

Or come see us for a normal painting session during our daytime hours. We're open 10-5 Weds to Saturday and 11-5 Sunday, with 2-hour painting sessions bookable from opening until 3:30 PM.

Weekdays you can usually walk in without booking, but we recommend booking when school is out. Weekends are typically busy, so booking is recommended. That said, if you chance it while in the area, we'll do our best to get you a spot -- we can almost always fit a table of two.

Thank you to our customers for making this long hot summer feel a little more tolerable, a little more fun, a little less difficult. We've enjoyed your sessions as much as you have.

Lots on the radar!

We will be OPEN next Tuesday, 21st July. We're usually shut on a Tuesday but we wanted to provide a bit more opportunity for those out of school and looking for a creative outlet.

We will be CLOSED 24th July - 31st July for family holidays. If you paint between now and Sunday, your pieces will be out of the kiln by Thursday the 23rd -- watch for the email they're ready to collect and get them by 5 PM Thursday. After that we will not reopen until 1st August. Pieces painted Tuesday 21st and later will not be ready until 5th August.

We have spaces to paint this weekend and next week -- come and see us! The studio is cool and welcoming and we'd love to see you. Friday is wide open, Saturday and Sunday have about 30% of seats still open.

Our next two paint and sip evenings are on 8th and 21st August -- limited seats still open for both. We will announce additional dates for the autumn months soon.

We use the collectit app for our bookings and collections -- watch your spam folder and mark us accepted. We don't market you, so you only hear from us relative to bookings and collections.

Our answer to the

We do not have air conditioning in our studio. At least not yet. As England continues to become the new Spain, we will likely make that move at some stage.

What we do now is go to the shop early when it's hot. We open the doors and windows, we get our high-powered fans running, and we cool things down. Our new lighting is dimmable and emits no heat, so the studio stays really nice.

We've had several positive comments about how nice it is in the shop -- a great escape from the heat.
