Our shop in Manchester spans three large floors, each cram-packed with more interesting instruments than the last; and each with its own flavour and feel. On the first floor is our Guitar Shop, in the basement is our Drum Shop and upstairs on the 1st floor is our Folk, World, Brass & Woodwind Shop! With so much to choose from, we’re confident you’ll leave with the instrument you’ve always wanted (or, even better, an instrument you’d never even heard of before!)

The Guitar Shop

On the ground floor is our Guitar Shop, here you will find all of our acoustic and electric guitars, along with strings, tuners, amps, effects pedals and much more. We always have a big range of new guitars in stock from Fender, Ibanez, Sigma etc. Along side this we also trade in second hand instruments and rarities. Because we always have a wide range of second hand goods in store, the stock is ever-changing: repeat visits are a must! The Drum Shop

If you head down the stairs to the basement you will find our famous Drum Shop. Here you are welcome to try out full kits along with our huge range of cymbals, snares, timbales, djembes, congas, bendirs and many more. You will also find a huge percussion section filled with all the mounted and hand-held percussion you could ever dream up. And last but not least, all the accessories you could ever need in the form of sticks, skins, moon gel, stick wrap and much more. The Folk Shop

If you head up to the top floor you will find yourself in our eclectic and mesmerising folk department filled with both new and vintage instruments and accessories. Within the Folk department is Manchester’s branch of Hobgoblin Music: the world famous folk and world instrument suppliers. In this section you will find all our banjos, ukuleles, harps, whistles, ocarinas, mandolins, citterns, mandolas, gu zhengs and much more. We have access to the full Hobgoblin range, and on top of this we have a huge range of other suppliers. At the other end of the top floor you will find our Brass & Woodwind department. In this section are all of our clarinets, oboes, trombones, trumpets, cornets, bassoons and many more along with all the necessary accessories. Reeds from Rico, Vandoren, Alexander, Fibracell, Bari; mouthpieces from Yamaha, Henri Selmer, Otto Link and the list goes on. Make sure to come down to the shop and take a look around for yourself, we are always happy to help you find what you are looking for, and always happy for you to try out the instruments for yourself – especially the ones you’d never heard of before! You will find us on Oxford Road in Manchester, just opposite the universities and All Saints Park:
