The anterior surface is ornamented with florid acanthus leaves which symbolise immortality.

The original box, pouch, puff, sifter, information leaflet, lipstick dummy tube and inspection docket are included.

The set comprises a Stratton Mini-Convertible and Lipview ( / mirror).

Both lids are embellished with ornately gilded designs which are stunningly beautiful.

The makers lacquered the brass and so it will retain its pleasing appearance without needing to be cleaned.

The mirrors give good and accurate reflections.

All catches and hinges work perfectly.

A wonderful with the famous Spanish dancing couple on the lid.

We rarely find these powder compacts and this one is unused, which is a bonus.

This very stylish compact was made in 1931 and so it is an authentic Art Deco compact mirror.

The lid is navy blue and dark blue Bakelite with the delightful Terri logo and fittings in gleaming chrome.

The compact is signed TERRI just near the thumb catch.

On lifting the lid the Bakelite powder well is visible, unused with 'AB - 2' stamped on to it.

A metal double mirror on a hinge gives a good reflection for a metal mirror.

The mirror swings open to reveal the shiny chrome with the Terri logo in reverse and the chrome fittings for the rouge.

All clasps and hinges work perfectly.

The base is dark blue Bakelite and just as pleasing to look at as the rest of this famous vanity.

The Bakelite and chrome are uniform colours and there are no light patches or discolouration at all.

Image six shows the base with the reflections. Image seven shows the base without reflections.

This model is the double case for loose powder and the lid is fitted with a bezel to hold rouge too.

Typically in this era the rouge compartment holds approximately half of the amount that the face powder compartment does.

A gorgeous unused Stratton which is suitable for pressed foundation as well as all loose face powder.

The makers lacquered the brass and so it will not require cleaning to maintain its beautiful appearance.

The lid is decorated with a design that the maker's named Linen and also pale pink Dog-roses with two tone green foliage.
