On Thursday, we had the privilege of being invited to by . Amaranth were shortlisted for the Bricks and Clicks Award and, whilst we didn’t come home with the top prize, being in the top eight is something we are incredibly proud of.

What an amazing evening celebrating everything that is unique about small businesses, the passion of business owners, and their contribution to the community. The event really made me realise how much small businesses help make our country a better place. Congratulations to , the winner of the Bricks and Clicks Award, and to everyone who was shortlisted. It was lovely to meet and chat with so many inspirational people.

I was also delighted to share the evening with my son, Sam. He has grown up with Amaranth being a big part of our lives, with many days spent waiting for me to finish work in the car after school drop-offs before heading to various activities. I’m so pleased that he now gets to experience the success stories, passion, and dedication that go into running a small business.

A huge day for Quack and Glow, the Amaranth Duck. She got herself ready with a lot of help from Summer Day and set off to race. Not only did she come second in her race, she also won the Best Dressed Duck as awarded by the Mayor.

Huge thank you to Summer for her amazing duck dressing and to Bramhall and Woodford Rotary for another fantastic duck race.
