End of an era, our last grown up left us today.

He was the most splendid of humans, direct, hilarious and always supportive. I couldn’t have wished for a better FIL.

We will miss him very much but in true Jim style he’d allow a short period of reflection and then a gentle nudge to carry on.

Until we meet again James Henry, life will be very different without you xx

My favourite and my beloveds least favourite place…

It’s been a lovely day apart from the Gale force wind. There were plans to go on the tram to the summit of the Orme, turned out most of the population of North Wales had the same plan…. So we drove up instead…. Not sure if this is something you’ve attempted yourselves? The ascent was fine, the drive down was quite something…. Very thankful for working brakes…

We took Nora the adventure pooch away with us at the weekend. Our caravan is on a farm so lots of exciting smells.

Whilst we were temporarily distracted she decided to take herself off on a dog walk without us! She knew the route as we take the same one each time….

She was discovered sitting with some American tourists… probably pointing out the best place to have a pee….

Thankfully she was only missing for minutes but she scared the life out of us…. She of course remained unconcerned….

Such a treat to spend the weekend together. For once everyone’s schedule aligned. It’s been wonderful. Our babies and their babies all in one place. The sun shone and there was general hilarity all round. Would highly recommend.
