Jane Barnett has made these using scraps of fabric and stitches, and I think they are absolutely incredible. Lots of little Suffolk puffs which I adore making myself.

I’ve been meaning to post this for a few weeks so better late than never!

My wonderful Tuesday morning ladies have created these bags with a given template and the instructions that the seams were to be decorated with stitching.
There was a lot of teeth gnashing at the start at the thought of so few pointers as what to do next, but look at what they have achieved! 😍
Each bag is totally unique and reflects each stitcher perfectly.

Now we only have to decide what to use them for and not just admire them!

A book for you lefties out there is coming out in the coming months.
As an embroidery teacher and a rightie, I have found it difficult to teach left handers as my tiny brain finds it hard to reverse things! But this should help all of that. Keep an eye out for it!

I wanted to share the work of my clever ladies from our Tuesday morning group.
I set them the task of stitching a design to sit on top of a stool and look what they came up with! We have all learned such a lot from this project and have helped each other to create beautiful finished embroideries. Most of us never thought we could achieve such stunning work!
We shared them with each other this morning and got such joy from seeing what each of us had made.
I’m so proud of you all 👏👏💐
