New look for Aran Guitars

New guitar finishes, will be available soon, featuring Ash, Mahogany & Dark Walnut body with metal pick guards, including stainless steel, and aged copper and steel.
Also a selection of neck timers and fret boards.
A choice of pickups will be available from Bareknuckle, which will be aged where appropriate to match the pick guard selection.
Cost yet to be fixed, but will be estimated to be £2300 - £2650

Here are some details of the new coffin shape guitar currently in production.
Headstock has a solid copper cap, the 12 fret marker will have a cross inlay, the fret board, guitar neck and fret board binding are all solid Rosewood.
Pickups are special design by Bare Nuckle

Coffin Guitar
The initial stages of the guitar build. Body has had the shape routed with pickup & neck pockets done.
The neck is only a MDF mockup template to test the feel and look of the size and shape before final manufacture.
Body is English Beech sourced from a friends farm, timber has been air dried slowly for many years, the grain has some beautiful spalted markings.
Neck to be made from solid Rosewood.
