This mid 70’s Antoria “Memphis original” MIJ is home after a re fret and it plays beauts!

Because it needed a refret and the place was flooded at the time, I didn’t really get to play it after I’d brought it, so this was our maiden flight 🤣🤘🏼

It’s got a vintage super distortion in the bridge with a tap and a very old single coil in the neck, it’s a lot softer than the humbucker but somehow it seems to work out 🤷🏻‍♂️

What really hits me though is the tone control! I’m a “tone wide open” kinda guy so imagine my jaw dropping when I rolled the tone back and forth to test it, and found a whole new personality on the beast!

I mean tone is tone right! Not on this beauty, it totally transforms the guitar! Bob can you help me wrap my head around this please 😣🤦🏻‍♂️

It’s like all other tone pots I’ve heard are counterfeit and I’ve just found a real McCoy! It’s blown my 49 and 3/4 mind 🤣🤘🏼
