With many groups, activities and services either closing for the Christmas break or running reduced services it can be a tricky time if you need some extra support. We've created a list of some national services that offer helplines and webchats that can be contacted if you need them in crisis, feeling distressed, or even if you just need a chat about how you're feeling.

Whilst we hope you don't need these numbers, this page and our other support pages on our website have useful information about places you can contact for help should you need it.

Please share with whoever you feel may need these.

Below are details of support lines. Click on the logo to view the organisation’s website as some provide webchat support.

Over the last nine months the CCORRN team has been working on several projects to support our local community.
As we start a new year and celebrate 10 years of our Community RePaint scheme, we're taking a moment to reflect on how far we've come and appreciate the tremendous support we've received from our local authority colleagues, private companies, local and national support networks, our funders and of course our members too.
We would not have been able to any of this work without our precious team of volunteers and staff.
So as we look forward to the year ahead we'd like to hear your feedback on what has worked well and whether there is more we can do.

If you have 5 minutes, we'd really appreciate your thoughts in this survey:

If you're a Clarion Resident we are able to offer a Box of Rainbows to Clarion Residents.

Thanks to Funding from Clarion Futures (The Charitable foundation of Clarion Housing)
Please note these will need to be collected from CCORRN on Wednesday, Friday or Saturday this week. Evidence of Clarion tenancy will be required.

Thanks to funding from Wisbech Town Council, their residents who have not yet already collected a box from the Oasis Centre / or the Spinney can still request a Box by emailing: [email protected].
Once we've checked our list, we will then email you with details of where and when to collect your box.
Please note evidence of your Wisbech address including postcode will be required when collecting a box.
Subject to availability - when they're gone they're gone :)

This latest Box of Rainbows is full of resources to help children get creative and active.
Thank-you to all the organisations and volunteers who have been supporting and working with CCORRN, Cambridgeshire Community Reuse and Recycling Network to deliver the Box of Rainbows Scheme.
Together we will have distributed over 1500 boxes over the last five months.

Debbie messaged us to say "Thank you for the eco box today. The kids have already nailed together the bug hotel and painted it, tomorrow they will add the sticks and nail it to the fence.
Aoife cannot wait to make heart seed bombs, and we are collecting keys and other objects for the wind chime. Thank you again. πŸ‘πŸ‘ The box is a great idea, my kids love crafting and the environment. πŸ’š

It was so nice to get such lovely feedback. Thanks to our superstar volunteers we've now almost completed making all 100 Eco Boxes. Our volunteer drivers Samantha and Andrew have now delivered 33 boxes. πŸ’™

We have had to wait for some things to be delivered which due to the pandemic have understandably been delayed.

Just a quick reminder that this is an entirely voluntary endeavour that we need to fit around our personal and professional responsibilities. If we've confirmed that you're getting a box we will do our best to get it to you as soon as we can. πŸ’œ

Also we've had boxes turned away from two addresses so it may be worth letting anyone who might answer the door know that you've ordered a box as it wouldn't be fair to our volunteers to have to send them back to deliver a box that was turned away and we do have another 50 people on a waiting list, so if you no longer want one; please send me a quick private message so it can be allocated to someone else. πŸ’š

Thank you for your patience, understanding and enthusiasm. πŸ™‚

Our friends Dave and Kez from Up The Garden Bath made this awesome instruction video to go with the Seed Ball Pack that is in The ECO BOX.
Give some love and a little share to you care :)

Apologies for the delay in getting the ECO BOXes delivered. As mentioned when we first launched this idea, these are being put together on a voluntary basis and everything has been much harder and taken much longer in lockdown.
Deliveries for key components have been delayed due to supplier stock delays due to reduced manufacturing. Thanks to a marvelous donation from Silverline Tools these boxes will include an amazing quality brand new tool gifted by Silverline.
For this first box this will be a hammer. πŸ”¨ Woo Hoo!!!
The bad news is that we were massively oversubscribed with requests for boxes, so if you haven't already received a message saying you will be getting a box then unfortunately you won't be getting one on this occasion.
If we receive positive feedback from those receiving the boxes, then we will approach our funder to ask if we can do another round of boxes.
The good news is that if you have received a message confirming that you will get a box, (we apologise again for the delay) we hope to be getting them to you within the week. πŸ’š
