I studied at the Agricultural and Horticulture College at Newcommon Bridge, Wisbech for two years qualifying in 1988, where I gained a distinction in City and Guilds Part 1 and Part 2. Whilst at college and for 5 years I gained a vast amount of experience working at Betty’s Floral Centre in Wisbech - my love of floristry began. I then moved on to set my own floristry shop up in the town of March,

Cambs, where I met my husband Mark Turner when supplying funeral tributes to Turner & Son Independent Funeral Directors of March. and I sold the floristry business to enable me to start our family. Now our family has grown I have the time and passion to re-enter the floristry business specialising in weddings and floral tribute work, learning new designs and techniques, using the freshest of products from a quality supplier, there is nothing quite like this job, I love it !!

If you’ve received flowers in the last week please keep an eye on their water levels. Like us, they don’t like these extreme temperatures 🥵
They will drink fast, dislike being in the sun and will need frequent water changes and clean vase. We always pop a care card with instructions on how to look after your blooms and extra flower food to pop in the fresh water.
If you receive one of our aqua bouquets in the water bubble we are suggesting you take them out of their wrapping and transfer to a vase sooner as you can’t see the water level .

With kind permission from the family we are sharing a funeral piece from last month. Lily attended her daddy’s funeral and Charlotte made a floral collar for her to wear. She was such a good girl when we measured her and was so good on the day.

So last Saturday in one of the hottest days of the year so far we celebrated the wedding of Lauren & Jack at Stamford. Longtime sweethearts from school and friends to our son & girlfriend, it was a pleasure to provide their florals.
I was certainly concerned about the delicate delphiniums, peonies and lisianthus in the heat, but good conditioning and protective spraying paid off. The flowers still looked good the next morning(I was told)
We wish Lauren & Jack an amazing honeymoon and best wishes for their future xx

We will be closed today Thursday 2nd April for a family funeral.
We are celebrating the wonderful, very special man, our nephew Luke, who brought joy, love and laughter to us all. We will all miss you so so much 💔
We are taking some time away from work during the Easter weekend and won’t be back open until Wednesday 8th April.
Many thanks for your understanding at this difficult time.
