A chance to celebrate British Flowers for their beauty, sustainability and character

We're open for PYO flowers on Friday and Sunday this week so if you want to relish in the quintessentially English scent of sweet peas then pop along 10-3. Relax in the Welcome Garden with a slice of homemade cake and listen to the birds

We've had lots of people ask us if we're open for PYO flowers yet and the answer is yes! From Friday 12th June we'll be open Fridays and Sundays 10-3:30

Our dahlias and other summer flowers are busy growing away and not in flower yet so here's a video of what you can pick at the moment

We'll update you all as new things become available

At the moment we're offering a vase of PYO sweet peas, coffee and homemade cake for £15

Don't forget you can just pop in no need to book and if you want to just enjoy the flowers with a cuppa you're most welcome 🌸

How to salvage seedlings for free plants!

The Welcome Garden woodchip is a haven for seedlings which means it needs regular maintenance but it also means that I get free plants 😊

We managed to replace all of our frosted cosmos with self-sown seedlings in the Welcome Garden

I just love seeing what pops up, last year a whole bed in the Welcome Garden was self-sown and included cosmos, dahlias, nasturtiums and a surprise gourd!

Huge rumble of thunder and we had to take shelter in the tunnel, crazy rain. Not complaining though as we really needed it and I'm rubbish in the heat!

Molly needed an emotional support coat but was soon out sniffing for things again
