From beachcombed treasures to finished pieces, everything you see is lovingly handcrafted by me using genuine finds from around the Kent Coast.

Sea glass, shells, driftwood and forgotten little treasures shaped by the sea, collected responsibly and given a new life as unique coastal décor. 🐚✨

I love that no two pieces I create will ever be exactly the same. Every piece has its own colours, textures and little imperfections… and that’s what makes handmade so special. 💚

A little time out 🤍

Sorry I’ve been a little quiet on here for the past couple of days. I decided I needed to take a bit of time for myself.

The last couple of years have been incredibly overwhelming. Losing my mum, then our lovely dog, and more recently my dad… I think everything has finally caught up with me.
In between it all I’ve had knee surgery, with a second knee surgery coming up, so a few days to clear my mind, unwind and simply switch off felt essential.

Yesterday I met up with a lovely friend for lunch and a long overdue catch-up, and it really was just what the doctor ordered. 🤍

No work. No social media. No worrying about what I should be doing. Just good company, conversation, laughter and some much-needed quality time.

Sometimes you need to give yourself permission to step away for a little while. The work will still be there when you come back. 🌊

I’m feeling a little more refreshed and ready to ease myself back into things, but at my own pace.

Threaded Thursday

Today is all about drilling & threading in the DriftwoodBeachCo workshop! 🌊

I’ll be busy restocking my bottle stoppers, bottle openers, letter openers, bookmarks and key chains, all handcrafted using genuine beachcombed sea glass from the Kent Coast.

These have been super popular as gifts again this year, you guys have almost cleared me out! 🥰

So, with Christmas fast approaching 🎄, it’s time to get drilling, threading and restocking ready for the festive season.

There’s something rather special about turning little pieces of sea glass, shaped by the ocean over many years, into beautiful and useful gifts.

Right... better get that drill out! 😂

This week’s Product of the Week is these beautiful Sterling Silver Sea Glass Earrings 💙✨

Handcrafted using genuine sea glass, sustainably beachcombed from the Kent Coast, each piece has been naturally tumbled and shaped by the sea over many years before being carefully hand-drilled and paired by me.

With 12 gorgeous colours to choose from, there’s everything from soft Seafoam and Ice Blue to rich Indigo, Deep Teal and classic coastal greens. 🌊

Each pair is finished with 925 Sterling Silver hook fittings, with an approximate drop length of 3cm.
And because no two pieces of genuine sea glass are ever exactly alike, every pair is completely unique, your own little piece of the coastline to wear. 💚

This beautiful Sea Glass Heart Suncatcher is handcrafted using genuine sea glass, sustainably beachcombed from the Kent Coast. 🌊
Each naturally sea-tumbled piece is carefully arranged inside a delicate heart-shaped metal frame before being encapsulated in crystal-clear UV resin, creating a gorgeous glass-like finish that really comes alive when the sunlight shines through. ✨

Finished with natural h**p string and ready to hang in a sunny window, it’s a lovely way to bring those soft coastal colours into your home.

Not a bad start to the week! 💚🤎🤍

This morning’s beachcombing brought a gorgeous mix of seafoam greens, frosty whites, aqua and browns, all naturally tumbled and shaped by the sea.

Now to get them cleaned and sorted, ready to be transformed into something new at DriftwoodBeachCo. ♻️🌊

🦭💙 NEW DESIGN ALERT 💙🦭

Introducing one of my 12 brand-new Blue & White coastal designs, the beautiful Sealion Scallop Shell Trinket/Soap Dish. 🐚

This is one of my own original designs, created especially for DriftwoodBeachCo, featuring an adorable sealion surrounded by delicate seaweed, shells and little ocean details in those gorgeous blue and white tones I'm loving at the moment.

The design is printed onto rice paper using a sublimation printer and then applied to a genuine scallop shell, then finished with liquid chrome edging and decorative metal corners for that extra-special touch. A UV resin top coat adds durability and a beautiful glossy finish, meaning it can be used as either a trinket dish or soap dish.
And this little sealion is just the beginning... 👀
I'm currently working my way through 12 new blue and white coastal designs, all with that Mediterranean-inspired feel, and I can't wait to reveal them one by one. 💙

🐚 SCALLOP SHELL SUNDAY 🐚

Scallop shell trinket dishes, soap dishes and decorations seem to be having a real moment right now, and I can completely understand why. 💙🤍💙🤍💙🤍

While lots of beautiful shells are created using napkins or stickers for decoupage, I wanted mine to be a little different. So, rather than using ready-made patterns, I create my own designs especially for DriftwoodBeachCo, making them unique to my little coastal brand. 🌊

At the moment I'm absolutely loving the timeless blue and white look along with the Mediterranean chic trend, fresh, coastal and perfect for bringing a little seaside style into the home.

And there's more coming... 👀

I'm currently working on 12 brand-new blue and white coastal designs, which I'll be launching soon. I can't wait to show you the finished collection!

A little piece of the ocean, handcrafted on the Kent Coast and ready to treasure. 🌊💙

These beautiful Sea Turtle necklaces are created using 100% genuine beachcombed sea glass, naturally shaped and frosted by the sea over many years. Each piece is carefully set into a delicate silver-plated open-back sea turtle design and finished with a 20" silver-plated chain.

From soft seafoam and pale aquamarine to striking teal, emerald and cobalt blue, every piece has its own colour, character and story. No two are ever exactly the same. ✨

And because presentation matters too, each necklace arrives beautifully gift wrapped in baby blue tissue inside a kraft presentation box, complete with a DriftwoodBeachCo jewellery card and thank-you card. 🎁
