also be the Margate Mayor’s Charity Tombola, festive street food, mulled wine, face painting, and live performances from local artists throughout the day including:

Congratulations to the five winners of the Mayor's Christmas card competition 2023. Thirty seven Yr1 children sent submissions from Holy Trinity and St John's primary, and it was very difficult to choose amongst the submissions as there was so much colour and variety, so the Mayor chose five cards.

The winners will (with their parents) help switch on the Margate Old Town Christmas lights with the Mayor of Margate and they will get a goody bag for their hard work.

Christmas cards featuring the designs will be available for sale at the Margate Old Town Christmas Fayre on Saturday, with all proceeds going to the Mayor's charity fund.

With special thanks to Rob Garratt (headmaster of ), , Ingrid Spencer, and Nigel from TDC Printers.
