Hours this week .. it’s quieter int he market, but I’ve stuff to do getting things online, so I’m keeping fairly regular hours .. if it’s quiet in the afternoon I’ll close 15 mins early some days perhaps 🤔

Have a great week all .. today I’m mostly relaxing - yes, I tweaked my back this morning, so it’s fragile today (tweaked .. no, I wasn’t twerking!) and will be watching telly and knitting mostly .. I’ve got back into Charmed for a weekly watch on a Monday lol

This is a batch of Gorgeous Green ready for the shop today ..

And if you’re popping by over the next few weeks, you’ll be seeing yarns from my Kentish Dyers Collection ..

I’ve always been a FIRM BELIEVER in COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION, and my small but mighty shop is testament to .. other small biz folks show up on the shelves, and a few carefully selected dyers are joining the party!

First up are Gem and Laura

Laura is Margate based and joined us at OK CREATIVE last night, bringing with her a sample selection of yarns which will be on the wall later today. There’s plenty of room for two dyers in one town .. and it means MORE ‘DYED LOCALLY’ YARN for you!

Gem is a good friend and her yarns were always coming to my shop (even if she didn’t realise that was my plan!) but she’s a bizzy babe so it’s been a matter of timing .. and HOT GOSS .. we’ve also been chatting collaborations, so look out for something coming in the future too!

I’m so proud to be able to support others as I settle into my new home.

These 20g mini skeins of 4ply Corriedale 80/20 were the result of this batch I photographed the other day, in the bowl I rinse yarn in, in our sink ..

I thought the sink photo was beautiful, but the yarn minis themselves … totally my bag!

I’m open 10am - 5pm today & tomorrow .. and every Friday and Saturday (unless I’m trading at a show, so watch out for announcements here!)
