The original OHLE on Belmont Bahn was Viessmann but I was never really happy with it, nothing to do with the product at all, more to do with the way I installed it so out it came.
For a while I thought about not replacing iut, but I do have a fair sized fleet of OHE locomotives & there is no way I will run them without OHLE or, perish the thought with the panto's dowm.
After some time it was replaced using mostly Sommerfeldt with a couple of Viessmann bits and the excellent hand built gantries by Bill Roberts.
However, there was a problem of how to fix the masts as BB uses Kingspan for the baseboards, eventually I modified the bases as per the image.
The result is a nicely tensioned system strong enough to take a panto off should it slip off !
The (poor) image shows how I modified the masts from the standard (LH) to the modified.
The masts are painted German Grey and the wires Japanese Army Green.

The next three images show the gantries for the OHLE at the east end of the station.
These gantries were hand made by (Belgian) Bill Roberts - thanks Bill.
They are actually level although the angles make them look like they are not.
Generic in design but they do the job.

Moving towards the west, Aldi's. The LT has managed to back into the floodlamp.
The signal box is a bit over the top but I had already made it for another project that did not go ahead.
Further to the left is the THW depot.

The backs of some town house, more or less finished.
The other areas require detailing (the "pink" end wall is not quite as pink in the flesh).
The "Glaskarten" is being delivered to a preservation group, the rails need filling in & the rest of this area detailed.

Next, looking "east" is the modern part of the town, rebuilt after WWII. The station building is in it's final position & the rest of the station platforms are under the town.
The multi story car park is also in it's final place it's about to be demolished.
As for the Fire Station, it's really too large but I spent a lot of time on it, so maybe it will stay there.
Otherwise, this area is still undecided.

We have often been asked about our "work in progress" exhibition layout "BelmontBahn".
Here is a pictorial of how much progress has been made, still a lot of work to be done and I'm looking for some help - tracklaying (the storage yard, out of sight wants relaying with new track), soft scenics & an electronics/IT expert would also be welcome.
I've posted the images separately with suitable descriptions.
BelmontBahn is not set in any particular country although it "leans" towards Germany. In realality it is set on that ficticious border between every European country which allow trains form anywhere in Europe to rub shoulders.
It will be automated so that visitors will be able to see a wide variety of trains on the move, it is therefore a "roundy roundy/tailchasher & I make no apologies for that.

The first image is to the "west" showing the abandoned castle, the HGV wedged under the arch. Centre is the guest house and bottom left ill be the stables/riding schooll.

At last the webstore is back on line.
We still have a huge amount of new stock to list, hopefully we will be on that task in the next couple of days or so.

WE ARE BACK !
It took longer than we thought, much longer but we are now back on line.
Our prices on most of our products are now even more competitive.
Please don't forget that we can supply many other products to order (these are listed elsewhere).
Thanks for your patience.
