Happy Monday!

I thought it would be nice to start the week by sharing this beautiful cardigan made by Jean, one of our lovely customers.

The pattern is ‘Tamsyn’ by Drops Design (available free on their website) and it’s been knitted in Mille Colori Baby by Lang Yarns, a gorgeous merino yarn.

Perhaps this could be the start of a regular ‘Monday Makes’ post 🧶

I love seeing what other people are making as it often inspires me to try things- how about you?

The ‘ber months are finally upon us and I, for one, am happy for it 🍂

There are lots of fun things on the way in the next few months, starting with the Harborough Artist Cluster Art Windows. In collaboration with local retailers, our beautiful town has been turned into a street gallery.

You can find the map of all the participating windows on the Artist Cluster website, in this post, or you can pick up a paper map from the shop and many of the other participating locations.

Caroline Jane Creative installation has brought more colour and creativity to my window and it’s great to see the same all over town.

If you want to build your crochet confidence this two week course is perfect for you.

You'll increase your skills with crocheting in the round & in flat rows and with changing colours. Plus, you'll leave the course with some practical items, handmade by you, and a book full of patterns for you to create more.

The course will be taught by Clare aka Crafty Pink Giraffe on Tuesday 8th & 15th September from 6:30 - 8:30pm and will be held at Mimi's Cafe.

Always wanted to learn to crochet but wondered if you could get the hang of it? Watched a bunch of you tube videos but still can't figure it out? If so, our crochet taster session is perfect for you.

You will learn some basic crochet stitches, in a relaxed and fun environment. By the end of the session will have made a daisy chain.

With cooler evenings, shawl season is upon us!
I recently cast off this: the pattern is Solar Flares, a free pattern by Drops Design. I made it using one Crazy Zauberball by Schoppelwolle. The colour I used is Boygroup, but there are so many shades to choose from.
