✂️ SCISSOR OF THE MONTH — and I am OBSESSED! ✂️

These scissors arrived a few weeks ago, but I'll be honest… I didn't really give them the attention they deserved until the last couple of weeks.

And WOW. I absolutely LOVE them.

They have completely surprised me with just how much coat they can take out while still leaving such a refined, clean and beautifully blended finish.

They're a dream for muzzles and visors — but one of my favourite uses has actually been feet! 🐾

And here's the bit that really impressed me…
They go through even the thickest Cockapoo coat. 😳
I don't say that very often about a detailing scissor!

You can remove a surprising amount of coat with them, but they don't leave that heavy, chopped-out look. Instead, they leave everything looking soft, tidy and finished.

Then you've got that solid precision tip, which is GENIUS. 👌

Need to take out a slightly larger section? Use the tip to snip away exactly where you need to. Then simply turn the scissor and use the lower section of the blade to blend everything beautifully together.

It's that combination of precision + removal + blending that makes these so clever.

I've genuinely found myself reaching for them constantly over the last couple of weeks and thinking:

"Yep… these are GOOD."

So forget Scissor of the Week…

The response to our brand-new Taromi Grooming Mats has been incredible. We have been absolutely inundated with pre-orders, messages and enquiries, far more than we ever expected!

Because of the volume of orders, we have now put PRE-ORDERS LIVE ON OUR WEBSITE so we can keep everything organised and, most importantly, make sure your mat is secured.

By placing your pre-order, your name is on our list and your mat will be put aside for you as soon as they arrive.

Our mats are due to arrive at the end of September. We're then heading away on annual leave, so we're aiming to start getting the first orders out during the first week of October.

Choosing postage?
Your mat will be allocated, labelled and shipped as soon as the mats arrive and we're able to get them dispatched.

Choosing show collection?
Your mat will be put aside with your name on it, ready for you to collect at the next show.

We’ve been VERY, VERY busy behind the scenes. 👀

Whilst some people are watching what everyone else is doing, we’ve been too busy creating what’s next. 😉

And if you thought we were just about sharpening… think again.

Taromi is all about diversification.

We’ve been coming up with ideas, testing, tweaking and creating new and unique products designed to make everyday life in grooming, showing and caring for our dogs easier, smarter and better.

We’re looking at what’s missing, what could work better and what could make life easier.

I’m so impressed with my new stripping knives! They’ve made hand stripping my Giant Schnauzers coat so much easier, and I’m really pleased with the results. 🖤

They’re comfortable to use, have a really good grip and glide through his coat beautifully without feeling like I’m fighting against it. I’ve noticed a real difference in how easily I can work through his coat and get a nice, even finish. They’ve brought his beautiful, harsh coat through perfectly. I’ve used plenty of other stripping knives and these are by far the absolute best. The grip is so comfy and I don’t get wrist ache as I have with some other brands. My Giants undercoat has come away so easily. With an array of sizes it’s made it easier for the fine detail work on his face and around his ears. My Giant Schnauzer is a show dog so it’s very important to me to keep his coat in top, harsh condition.
I am very excited to try them on other breeds that come into the salon for a strip.

Highly recommended for beginners and experienced hand st*****rs, definitely a set I will be recommending!
