🏁 GRAND PRIX 1966

One of the most iconic motor racing films ever made, Grand Prix brought the world of Formula 1 to the big screen in spectacular fashion.

Now, Grand Prix 1966 takes you behind the scenes through the remarkable on-set photography of Luis Delgado, James Garner’s close friend and occasional stand-in.

Using his Leica and Kodachrome 35mm film, Delgado captured James Garner, the cast and crew, and the real Formula 1 stars who took part in the filming at Spa-Francorchamps, Clermont-Ferrand, Le Mans, Brands Hatch and Monza.

These previously unpublished photographs offer a fascinating glimpse into the making of John Frankenheimer’s landmark 1966 film and the incredible world of Grand Prix racing at the time.
