Good Morning,

We have opened the Emma Ball delivery and as always, it does not disappoint! We have new note pads, sticky note pads, lens cloths, wrist bags (which Mamma Handmade uses on a regular basis and can often be seen littering around the shop crocheting away with it on!) and stunning tape measures! There’s more bits but I haven’t got to the bottom of the box yet!

Today we have our knit and social crochet group from 10am and then tomorrow we are back for the next part of the Autumn Crochet Along! A lot of work going on at the moment!
I’m working on more projects and emptying more boxes, the carpet is becoming clearer!

Good Morning,

Part 2 of the Autumn CAL for Tuesday group today. I have one lonely pack left if anyone else would like one. Our groups are full, but we have space on a Saturday as part of the social group if you wish to join us, or you can buy the pack to make at home, there’s no pressure with it to join us!
The Emma Ball delivery arrived last thing yesterday, so I will get some pictures and put those on to show off what we have! As we know, it is gorgeous and makes ideal gifts or treats for yourself!
The haberdashery delivery is due today (not yesterday as I thought!) so that will fill in a few of those gaps we have on the stands and gets us topped back up nicely for all the seasonal projects coming up!
We may be in a later and just knock if the gate is open, but the plan is 2:30pm closing as always and yes, we will be in early! 💖

Good Morning,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend once the weather finally sorted itself out!
Today I’m back early with a few jobs to do before the haberdashery delivery arrives and I think some more Emma Ball stock is due with us today too. I also have a rep due in this morning and I have a fear it will be Spring stock I will be looking at! I still haven’t gotten my head around Halloween yet never mind next year!
I’m trying to plan a day to stay later this week for a good sort out while I have Mr H and Mamma Handmade in too but I will see what happens!
Anyway, we are very well stocked at the moment so do call in for you autumnal projects 😊

Good Morning,

The soft and cosy is now unpacked and accessible! (The weather is ideal for this one today) Super chunky, non shed to make the cutest of toys or the warmest of blankets and accessories in a huge 20 shade colour palette. There’s got to be a colour there to suit your project and we have all of them at the moment.

Today is Saturday social with a crochet along update too. I have an ‘original’ colour pack left if anyone else would like to join us or wish to have one for home (no pressure on joining a group!)
I will be in early to hopefully finish off the embroidery and online orders then I can start a fresh to do list next week. Doesn’t it feel better when you get certain things done by the end of the week!?
Open until 1pm but I may be later depending on how I get on!

Good Morning,

We are back to woolly photos today! 10 boxes arrived, not 7! So that’s thrown me a little and I know more are on their way. The trade show on Monday has got us stocked up for a few months! This delivery does contain the fabulous new chenille yarn from Tuesdays photos though 🐠
I will be in early but have an early appointment in town, I will certainly be back for opening. So if you knock and there’s no answer, I nipped out!
Today is all about catching up with embroidery orders, online orders, getting some more boxes out of the way and trying to see what colour the shop carpet is again!
I can’t thank you all enough for how busy you are keeping us at the moment 💖 it really is appreciated.

Good Morning,

I have some stock photos of the fat quarter packs I put on yesterday and these show them off a bit better 💖 some gorgeous project ideas right there! Seasonal quilts, co-ordinating bags, clothing, patchwork, everything! They are stunning.
Today we start part 2 of the Love Letter to Autumn crochet blanket. If you don’t want to bring your full pack, bring your cream and claret or cream and pink rhubarb depending on which pack you are using! (Apologies to those who I said pomegranate to, the colour just hasn’t stuck in my head!)
I still have a couple of packs left, so if you are suffering from FOMO, then just get in touch to join us, it’s not too late!
I will be in early today as I am expecting the first delivery from Mondays show…..which is 7 boxes 😳 so I may be in a little later too 🙈😂

Good Morning,
We had more pre cuts arrive with us yesterday so our stand full of Liberty and Makower Fat Quarter bundles and our beautiful Bali Pops are bursting with colour at the moment, all waiting for you to turn them into something amazing!

Today we have our knit and crochet social group from 10am. Don’t forget, if you wish to join us, you do need to book ahead for our groups as we are very fortunate they are so popular 💖

Good Morning,

We had a lovely day at the trade show yesterday while Mamma Handmade held the fort. We have seen more goodies for the remainder of the year and it’s always lovely to see our reps who support us massively whenever we ask, they are brilliant at what they do.
To get us started, we have a beautiful new chenille yarn - thicker than the gorgeous Chenillove but the same non shed quality. The patterns are a mixture of these cute sea creatures and cosy chunky blankets. I will let you know once it hits our doorstep!

Today we are starting our final class off with the Autumn CAL. I have a couple of spare packs, so do let me know if you would like us to fit you into a class or of course you can do this at home in your own time.
I will be in the shop very soon and we will be open until 2:30pm 😊

Good Morning,

These stunning metallic Liberty fabrics have been very popular online over the last week. I’m still focussing on Halloween / Autumn fabrics so I haven’t yet got my head into festive ones! But the shop is making the shift and we have plenty of festive fabrics upstairs at the moment while having the Halloween and glow in the dark ones downstairs (not to put festive fabrics in everyone’s face in September!)
More deliveries are coming in this week, so we should have all our end year fabrics in store and online soon….of course, our yarns have been in for around a month now with more on their way too 🙈 I will be nagged at about no room soon!
Open until 2:30pm today and I will be in super early tomorrow morning 😊

Good Morning,

I love shutting up the shop when it’s starting to get dull outside as the Halloween glow really comes to life at the moment! Yes, we do still have some Halloween glow in the dark fabrics at the moment!
This morning is Saturday social but I do have a few people starting the new CAL. I have made up all the packs so if anyone would like to join us last minute, that’s fine, we are ready for you! Plus if you just wish to buy the kit with the freebies included, these are ready to go too!
I added a couple of new classes earlier this week. I have a couple of spaces left on the ghost / pumpkin class and only one space left on the advent panel. Both classes are in the ‘events’ tab for full details, or just contact us for further information or to book.
I’m heading to the shop soon and we will be closing at 1pm as normal today. Have a fabulous weekend 😊
